Wow, 9ers are going crazy with these moves. Must be large $$.

He's 2-4 all-time in the playoffs. In the first playoff loss of his career, he brought the Cowboys down the field to win the game and then fumbled a hold on a field goal. Given that he was an emergency holder and that has nothing to do with being a quarterback, and that's where his reputation comes from, it's deeply stupid. Against the Giants in 2007, he drove the Cowboys down the field and failed to score, tossing a pick on a desperation 4th down heave. The loss to the Vikings in 2009 can be blamed on him, though the rest of the team hardly covered themselves in glory, but it came after a fantastic game against the Eagles. He was also tremendous in the 2014 playoffs, and would have led them down the field to score and won the game if that obvious Dez Bryant catch hadn't been overturned because no one knows what a catch is in the NFL. There was a 4 or 5 year period where he had the most game-winning touchdown drives in the league.

Didn't you know? If you don't 5 rings your a bum

He was decent in the SB.

Lol so when do the Niners get busted for offering contracts before Thursday? Chiefs owner should be pissed.

My bad 2 wins. Awesome info! Still doesn't scare me on either Houston or Denver.

Another QB off the market. If Romo goes to Houston or Denver then the Browns have their backs against the wall.
And if Glennon goes to CHI then:

A: they're forced to trade for Jimmy G
B: Reach for a QB

I think they draft one at #12. They will load up on D. I expect they will be pushing hard to sign Hightower to go along with Collins and they can be bros again.

Romo-as-choker is basically a narrative that began because of the botched hold on the field goal and continually had fires stoked because Cowboys fans needed something to blame. Romo was an easy target for entitled fans who were spoiled by their team's success in the early 1990s and couldn't fathom that it's actually rather difficult to win the Super Bowl for reasons that had nothing to do with Romo himself. Easier to blame interceptions (thrown after your defense blows a lead), botched holds, and vacations with Jessica Simpson.

Patriots fans rightly scoff when people blame Brady for the Patriots failure to win a Super Bowl between 2004 and 2014, or call him a choker for losing in 2007 or 2010, but it's the same situation with Romo. It's just too bad he didn't get to leave that awful fanbase behind years ago.

Darkhorse for Jimmy G could be Washington if they end up trading Cousins to SF.

Could end up being a three-team deal of sorts. 49ers send a 1st+ to Washington for Cousins, Washington sends their own 1st+ to New England for Garoppolo. But if the Browns are offering #12, that plus better be better (2018 1st, for instance) than the Browns'.

Hmm..Ground and Pound for them again?

I like the Browns more as a destination because they have a lot of flexibility with their draft picks where you could get creative to take advantage of this deep draft class (e.g. their 2 second round picks + conditional first round next year).

Washington only has their own picks so less wiggle room.

Agree. He's been decent. My questions are his health and how good is he behind an inferior O line.

Niners making moves. They'll still suck.

Shanahan getting over his SB loss by getting out to an early lead in the Offseason Superbowl [...I'm sure it'll turn out just fine this time....]
