Browns are in trouble at QB. Maybe they panic now and offer us the #12 and a 2018 1st for JG!

Funny how either Jimmy G is massively overvalued or teams like the Bears and Browns are idiots. I tend to think the later is the truth, and it doesn't matter who you take with the number 1,3, or 12 respectively if you don't have a QB. It does not matter. So, if Jimmy is that QB, in the modern NFL, you trade those picks without question. Plenty of other ways to improve your team.

He's 2-4 all-time in the playoffs. In the first playoff loss of his career, he brought the Cowboys down the field to win the game and then fumbled a hold on a field goal. Given that he was an emergency holder and that has nothing to do with being a quarterback, and that's where his reputation comes from, it's deeply stupid. Against the Giants in 2007, he drove the Cowboys down the field and failed to score, tossing a pick on a desperation 4th down heave. The loss to the Vikings in 2009 can be blamed on him, though the rest of the team hardly covered themselves in glory, but it came after a fantastic game against the Eagles. He was also tremendous in the 2014 playoffs, and would have led them down the field to score and won the game if that obvious Dez Bryant catch hadn't been overturned because no one knows what a catch is in the NFL. There was a 4 or 5 year period where he had the most game-winning touchdown drives in the league.

If they are, they better get it. I'd be thrilled being 0-15 or 1-14 around Xmas. It'd make for one hell of a holiday miracle to finally have a QB coming.

But if they finish the year with 2 or 4 wins and miss out on the #1... I'll be freakin' pissed.

Who knows though. It's early. They could still be staying to win in 2017 and just releasing the high priced vets. Perhaps Hackenberg is decent and we can compete this season.

Never know. Not holding my breath though.

And if Glennon goes to CHI then:

A: they're forced to trade for Jimmy G
B: Reach for a QB
