must be the 1st w/ some type of gaurantee that Cooks signs long term

if he doesn't, prob drops to 3/4th etc, maybe thats what the saints didn tlike

no team is stupid enough to send a 1st rounder to saints for a 1 yr rental

Yeah, and even with that guarantee I don't think I'd go higher than the Titans' offer. I love Cooks, but he's going to be very expensive starting next year. If the Saints aren't willing to make that deal, then it seems like they just really don't want to trade him.

Marshall probably went after them. Wanted to stay in Jersey to shoot Inside the NFL weekly.

Damn it. Knew it was gonna happen but still sucks.

Huge pickup for Blue. Now they have a WR over 6'. Was a big weakness for them last year and now they have one of the best big WRs in the game to go along with arguably the best WR and a good young Shepard.
Are your Jets playing for the first pick in 2018?

Not saying it isn't but if this is true it's not.

Wow, turned down #18? and people thought Jimmy wasn't worth a #1

Price is wayyyy too high for Cooks.. high pick(s) and I'm sure a monster contract to go with it in the desean Jackson range

Would have been fun to see, but no thanks... maybe the front office can finally draft one of these stud WRs

How much money did the Bears waste? I'm prepared to laugh.

So who will be the 49ers QB? I still think the redskins might hang on to cousins unless the 49ers are willing to part with the second round pick.
Their Gm should be fired if he doesn't get a first in a trade for cousins

At least one familiar face to beat up on in the East.

Hoyer is pretty good, i'd like it if he started somewhere

somewhere that i didn't hate even better so i can root for him, maybe Brady's best backup to date (not including guys currently on roster)

Maybe. But HOF careers can be built different ways. Kurt Warner like stratospheric primes, over short careers. Or long careers of being pretty solid.

Eli never gets hurt and probably has about 4 years left in him. Right now, here's where he stands on the all-time NFL rankings in two key categories that HOF voters love:

Passing yards: #8 (will easily pass the 3 other guys right ahead of him)
Passing TDs: #7 (will easily pass the guy right ahead of him and stands a good chance of passing two guys)

The guy is going to end his career with two Super Bowl rings, and be in the top five all time in passing yards and passing TDs.

That's an absolute lock hall of fame career, even though I never, ever thought that he was, in any season, in the conversation for "best QB in the NFL".

People a few years after his retirement will look at the 2 rings and the stats you mention and think "he was a great quarterback" but then realize they can't remember really ever watching him play.

Hoyer's better than Blaine Gabbert. Damning with faint praise.

Romo going to Denver scares me.
