Yeah receiving skills look unusual for a RB. Day 3 picks all have many question marks but we will make late picks and it isn’t difficult to see the possible fit here.

Most on here would concede that one off season (FA and Draft) will not make this team into a contender. That being said, regardless of who they draft and where they draft them, this much is certain: They MUST have a significantly upgraded OL (especially LT) than what they had last year, both in pass protection and run blocking. More talent at WR and RB. If they just accomplish those things, combined with the new coaching staff and culture (and really good health/little to no serious injuries), then this team will get better. I look at this season as laying the foundation for what can be done in next year's FA and Draft, and the 2026 Season's Team. We all just want to see tangible progress and solid decision making.

Why would anyone concede that? Every team has whatever weaknesses they have and whatever strengths they have. Every team could add a combination of players that would make them a contender (Wash did it last year, Houston the year before among many others). We uncertainly had enough cap and draft resources to do that if we made the right decisions.

With a schedule that has 8 games against teams won 5 or fewer games and the addition of 9-10 starters nothing short of contending would really be tangible progress.
