NFL Division Round Playoff games

Yet Cobb's was a catch?

The inconsistency of calls is what is ruining the NFL

I did not see that catch(or non catch). Any video footage of it?

I'm turning off my Sunday ticket next year, no more money to the NFL. If the Pats are not on nationally then I guess I won't watch, I'm done with it. It is a joke.

What did they overturn it for? He had possession in the endzone. Ball didn't hit the ground.

This league is such a joke

It's come to the point where even the NFL officials don't understand the rules. I need to know what is considered a "football move." Obviously diving to the goal line isn't

What's a football move?

Running with the ball. He jumped up and was stumbling to the ground. It sucks because Dez only lost the ball because he was trying to extend the ball to the endzone. I think he normally catches that.

The rule is clear though. The ball moved, and it's not supposed to. Same as Amendola's catch yesterday where the call went against us. Same as the call they blew in the first half, and gave a free one to the Packers.
He had control, then when he lunged for end zone he extended his arm and bobbled when he hit the ground on extension.

How could that be overturned?

I've never been so perplexed by a decision.... Unfathomable
Have you seen a PI called and announced and then the flag picked up before?

Yet if a guy taps his toes going out of bounds football moves don't matter.

Interesting thing is we have no stake in this game really and we are pissed about it...the NFL is ruined it needs a new boss and a complete restart.

I don't care who wins but now I hope by some weird chance Dallas pulls it out, or Seattle destroys GB.

The ball didnt come out on the catch it came out on the reach to the pylon. That makes all the difference and the officials should have had the stones to make an unpopular call. I hate to see an official negate an amazing play like that.

Man, that looked like a good catch to me. He had the ball and was reaching for the goal line.

LOL, people should check the Lions twitter post, classic.

Not at all like the Amendola catch. That was a correct reversal, Amendola was diving and never had possession before hitting the ground. Dez got both feet down and only extended his arms--clearly possessing the ball--to stretch for the pylon.

I don't know how that's not an absolute clear-cut catch, it's almost mind boggling to me.

So toe taps out of bounds are incomplete because they didn't make a "football move" before going out of bounds? And a football move= running with the ball.

that was a catch, he had the ball secured and then made a football move (1 full step plus part of another) to try to score. How could he not see that?

Correction- on the 3rd full step is when his arm hit the ground and popped out by contact with the ground

Did the ball move and touch the ground like it did with Dez? If so then yes.
