I think he has more pure ability than Rodgers but lacks the decision making and WRs.

That's the ultimate question isn't it? Who are the best QBs that "got it" on ball protection after their 3rd year or so after being a gunslinger early on? No one leaps to mind, but I'm sure there's a couple out there.

All of a sudden during the season his age just takes over. That is not it. I'm not a fan of Manning but he isn't done, he has something wrong with him.

Some QB's decline very quickly. Given his age and recent injury history, it's not out of the question. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if the thigh injury is worse than what's being reported.
