I can't say I've been following the story too closely, nor did the radio guy say the reason, so I am unsure.I guess he has health issues?
I thought I heard Schefter say it. Unsure myself. I know he was experiencing chest pains after a game before X Mas.I can't say I've been following the story too closely, nor did the radio guy say the reason, so I am unsure.
Lol everyone getting fired today
I'm sure Bill has been preparing for both departures for at least 2 years bc of the most recent success by both.
Flores and O'Shea/Schuplinski will do a good job. Not worried too much especially because they know the in and outs of every thing in Foxboro.
You missed the perfect opportunity to refer to the lion OC by his last nameIn the end, it looks like both Patricia and Josh are going to get offers. My guess the Lions are going for a defensive guy since their QB is in love with Jim Bob. .
Been preparing for this for 30 years. Stephen and Brian will form the Belichick Triumvirate.I'm sure Bill has been preparing for both departures for at least 2 years bc of the most recent success by both.
I know very little about these people.
Almost all coaches have families so I doubt it’s any different for mcd than anyone else.Interesting that Vrabel is being considered for a HCing job. I love the guy but he doesn't have much going on in his resume to engender a HCing job just yet. IIRC this is only his first year as a DC. Seems like a fast rise for me.
Observing the annual Black Monday saga is much more fun when your coach isn't part of the story. Having some of your assistants in the mix just adds to the drama.
In the end, it looks like both Patricia and Josh are going to get offers. My guess the Lions are going for a defensive guy since their QB is in love with Jim Bob. Both the Colts NY and Tenn (if that job opens) look like possible destinations for Josh The question remains is how much do they want to go and get a HC'ing job as opposed to being very well paid to stay. Josh's first move was very hard on his family. Clearly its a big factor.
If he is will to wait a few more years (say 5) he can slip into the Pats job and watch his kids grow up in a stable setting. If he waits he'll still be only 50 and still young for an NFL HC. So I don't know.
If I'm Matt, I'd be ready to go. He's reached his limit within the Pats organization. Now is a good time to move on. He's had a spectacular year.
I just heard it on the radio, but it does appear that it's being confirmed that Arians will retire.
The Cardinals are looking for a new head coach.
As expected, Bruce Arians announced at a Monday press conference that he is retiring after five years as the head coach in Arizona. Arians ended his final season with a win over the Seahawks that left him with a 49-30-1 record during his time with the Cardinals.
Vance Joseph will not be one-and-done as the head coach of the Denver Broncos.
Broncos G.M. John Elway told Joseph that he is returning for the 2018 season.
“Vance and I had a great talk this morning about our plan to attack this offseason and get better as a team. We believe in Vance as our head coach. Together, we’ll put in the work to improve in all areas and win in 2018,” Elway wrote on Twitter.
Expectation is for Broncos to now take a hard look at/address offensive staff and quarterback position. Changes likely in the offing.
