Parker: "This is arbitration... It's casual. It's sometimes even down and dirty."

what does this mean?

I understand it to mean that, unlike actual litigation, the rules in arbitrations are more relaxed, evidentiary rules do not necessarily apply, etc. Tough to read into it more without better context.

Definitely not looking good in my eyes

Getting frustrated with some of these questions/comments now. How could the evidence of tampering be compelling? There is none. Ugh.

Yep, welcome to NY! Berman may have simply been a small oasis of sanity.

coming from a total lack of knowledge of courts, why aren't berman arguments addressed?

Woah. Judge Chin says evidence of ball tampering was "compelling, if not overwhelming.

The fix is in.

Especially since the big shot sports media re:King et al have been opining that the picks should be returned based upon the severe lack of any good evidence.

More proof that the higher you go in the chain, the more and more political justices are.

It's irrelevant. These judges are making a ruling based on a presumption of guilt. So did Berman.

Great! So we'll get a decision going along with the narrative that he did it but skated on a technicality.

Saying stuff like this is simply provocative. It's not anything resembling a rational legal discourse.

Why isn't Steffen Johnson doing the arguing????

Asked by Chin about Goodell's possible motivations, Kessler says he spent $3m to get a report that said "generally aware."

Ka-boom!
I can't see how that isn't fishy considering that's the exact verbage they needed for the punishment. How did it go from more probable than not to absolutely did it?
