I never have bought into Purdy

He is in the sea of dudes that are too good to be backups (Baker, Kyler, Bryce, etc.) but can not elevate a team under most circumstances. Problem is Purdy got paid. Teams need to consider moving off of those types of QBs after their first contract or wait until you get them on the rebound like TB did with Baker

Shanahan makes poor choices for his QB. Jimmy and now Purd. The team is plenty good enough, but falls in the QB department.
