New Search Tool - Try it out

Up in the top right (if you're on a PC or tablet - this isn't available on mobile yet) there's a magnifying glass with a search function I've been working on. This checks all our articles, forum threads, previously posted links, and all the local media columns.

The links and forum threads go all the way back to 2005, so this should be a one-click thing to make things a little easier. Let me know what you think. If you don't see the magnifying glass, you may need to clear your cache.

Started playing with it a couple of weeks ago while I was working on a couple other things, and it kind of evolved from there.

Just a quick note because I got a couple of messages. It's not the regular forum search you want to test (that hasn't changed), it's this symbol in the upper right. And if you don't see it, you might need to clear your cache.

LOL, most of that total are from almost 10yrs ago when I used to mark them "unread" after reading them to be able to find them later. I just haven't taken time to go all the way back through to find them to mark them all "read" to make that go back to zero.
