I concur with the consensus - Chatham and Fauria were good. The format was at times just right, but too often they fell so far behind the live action that Roche had to describe a play already passed by two more.
I liked what i heard from the PW dudes, Perillo and Hart, but they should be plugged more readily and not so much as a special report feel like they were.
To me, Roche was the biggest problem. He was lost on names, downs, timeouts, you name it, all too often. On top of that, his almost frantic vocal pacing was very distracting. The vibe was like you were constantly missing something you needed to hear, this while you actually were missing the the basic play by play you did want to hear.
Roche needs to chill out and talk more naturally, let the action and his myriad of experts come to him. I know this was the first time and a lot was happening, so I offer this as encouraging feedback, not stark critique.
