Good morning,

Ran into a handful of things I had to fix, but we're now good. A few things:

This new layout was themed around the team's color styles based on home/away, which you can now toggle between:

The "Light" and "Dark" is pretty self-explanatory, as you can toggle back and forth between the two. The "System" is tied to your PC. So if you use a dark theme, or your system automatically changes based on the time of day, the software will detect that and will be synced with it if you choose this setting.

There's a new left hand menu that's available:

This gives you quick access to checking your bookmarks, along with being able to see who you're following, who you're ignoring, threads you're ignoring, people you have on a global forum mute/blocked list, etc. A lot of this stuff, particularly the bookmarks, are buried in the user panel and not readily available. They're now a little easier to access with this.

Below that are the avatar/signature/preferences. Again, these are buried in the panel and I get this question a fair amount when people are trying to set up their accounts. So they're now easier to access.

Another note: Not sure if you noticed this, but you can "Pin" posts to your sidebar:

This is located on the bottom right of every post, and you have up to six:

This is another feature I'm not sure people are using, but that's been touched up a little, although I left the display itself the same.

The slideout menu has been updated as well. It's organized a lot better and a little easier to find things. The only thing I do have to add back in is the quick link to the "Help Desk", but I'll do that in a bit and I'll update this if anything else is modified.

But for now, feel free to test things out and obviously report any issues here.

I like the new look, Ian. Bolder, more contemporary and, for me, the text seems easier to read.

Also, this button is the thread ignore:

And there's obviously a one-click "Ignore" on the main page:

The "Users" button will show you who posted in the thread, and you can click on the person's count to preview the posts. This is similar to before, but this makes it a little easier. Same with the ignore, which previously you had to click into the thread to add it to your ignore list.

To see the threads you're ignoring, this icon does that:

And in the slideout menu under "Forum:"

Don't have the time right now to explore, but at first glance it looks kick ass... great job.

I added a "thumbs up" emoji but it didn't transfer went I posted my reply.....and then I realized that I can't figure out how to edit (or delete) my posts with the new design. I'm probably missing something that is right in front of my face..

Ian, in addition to not seeing the edit/delete option (for one of my posts) using the mobile version, the button that allows you to go to the last message in a thread seems to have disappeared? When I click "jump to New", it doesn't take me there.

Thanks Ian. I don't like change, except when it comes to ugly uniforms, but I'll try my best to adapt.

It’s an excellent update, thank you. One thing I’ve noticed is that I can’t see how to edit a post on mobile. There used to be a 3 dot dropdown menu that took you to the edit function but that doesn’t seem to be there now. No biggie, just an fyi.

Edit: NM. I’ve found it but it’s very hard to see on the light variant.

Extremely minor note:

Used to be when a link was posted it would unfurl with a small excerpt; now it looks like just the headline.
Plus gray on dark blue is tough to read.

For example:

Personally I liked seeing that excerpt in addition to the headline.

Other than that, looks great!

Edit: The excerpt might be there, not 100% sure - but black letters on dark blue background make it impossible to read.

Also noticed while editing that the "Attach Files" cannot be read until you hover the mouse over that rectangle. Otherwise it is just a white rectangle. Coincides with what @Ross12 was saying

... and when I typed in his name with the "@" symbol, that logo comes up in black letters on a dark blue background; again impossible to read.

(Don't shoot the messenger!)

Thanks for all the time you put into this.

Is there an option to remove the big box at the top (latest local headlines, current popular discussions, etc) so that scrolling down to see the top posts isn't necessary?

There are a few places where the text is very hard to see/read. For instance on mobile, if you scroll to the bottom of a thread, the text to go back to the main forum is white, but the background in that spot is also white. It seems like the board background is not formatting very well on mobile.
