Connected this morning and WOW! Looks awesome Ian.

I almost dropped my phone, Light was blinding, dark was found immediately.
It will take a few to get used to it.

Thanks

It looks awesome Ian. Thank you for what you do.

Where has dark mode been all my life?

Thank you, Ian.

@Ian Nice look overall, but some of the fields/backgrounds are too dark. For instance, text is unreadable when posting a linked article or inserting an alert to another member, a la @Ian

I added a "thumbs up" emoji but it didn't transfer went I posted my reply.....and then I realized that I can't figure out how to edit (or delete) my posts with the new design. I'm probably missing something that is right in front of my face..
Edit block was just white, and there are a few style conflicts I'm still finding and getting through. Just keep posting them in here and I'll hopefully get them all cleared up.

Extremely minor note:

Used to be when a link was posted it would unfurl with a small excerpt; now it looks like just the headline.
Plus gray on dark blue is tough to read.

For example:

Personally I liked seeing that excerpt in addition to the headline.

Other than that, looks great!

Edit: The excerpt might be there, not 100% sure - but black letters on dark blue background make it impossible to read.

Also noticed while editing that the "Attach Files" cannot be read until you hover the mouse over that rectangle. Otherwise it is just a white rectangle. Coincides with what @Ross12 was saying

... and when I typed in his name with the "@" symbol, that logo comes up in black letters on a dark blue background; again impossible to read.

(Don't shoot the messenger!)

Thanks for all the time you put into this.

This is fixed.

It's the Dogs Bollocks @Ian, thanks as always

Definitely a good idea to put the <Pats Forum inside a black box, it was harder to see with the light background.

There are a few places where the text is very hard to see/read. For instance on mobile, if you scroll to the bottom of a thread, the text to go back to the main forum is white, but the background in that spot is also white. It seems like the board background is not formatting very well on mobile.
Just made some corrections and I think I've got things mostly fixed there. I couldn't really test it properly on my desktop, so this was sort of the first go around on mobile and I immediately saw what you were referring to but it should be improved.

Ian. I liked the old format the way it was. Change it back right now. Thank you.
LOL, I'm hoping you're kidding. But I'm also not done, and things should settle down the further we get in with this.

Yep that is fixed now. Awesome. It looks really good in desktop browser.
