I am worried that Denver will play 8 in pass coverage and rush 3, hence daring the Pats to run. So who do we run the RB formerly known as SJACK or a dose of James White? I really wish we had Blount.
I'm worried about Patriots injuries. Belichick and Brady have the rest of it covered.

A couple of the reasons to feel pretty good here...if the Pats don't sustain more injuries (Hightower needs to stay on the field) and don't turn the ball over a bunch, they'll get their 27+ points. Does this Denver team score that much if a non-crazy game unfolds? Hard to see it.

Are the Pats really going to go 2-13 on 3rd down again? No

Is Manning going to have a better game than Osweiler did vs NE? No

Its all about health. JE, DA, Collins, High, Gronk.

One reason I'm glad Manning is playing over Osweiler is that manning can't run the zone stretch running play. Pats had difficulty with that last time, Manning just can't execute it at this point in his career.

OT, but something that struck me:

We need some Patriots emoticons. Those of you who's geek runs in that direction may consider yourself challenged.

Peyton Manning didn't throw one pick in that Steelers game. He needs to make up for that. Like I've said a few times before, I'm a huge fan of his interceptions.

Yes but manning can read the defense and can still call a good game and throw the ball on time before the WRs come open. There are pros and cons to both.

I think the Manning sucks and can't throw more than 10 yards talk has gotten out of hand. He is more than capable of reading the defense and making all the intermediate throws with accuracy. Pats need to stop the run or Manning while thrive on 3rd and 4's..imo

The only intermediate throws he can still do are those outside the numbers. He might have the accuracy but he seems to miss enough power to zip intermediate balls inside consistently. Not all of those "drops" that the Broncos fans lament about were actually drops but the ball came wobbly towards the receiver.

Combined with his total inconsistency downfield this is a big deal.

Watching a replay of the Denver loss right now.

One thing that might be different between the two games is that Brady had a long time to throw that game because the ground had snow on it and you could see the Broncos defenders skating around For instance, Brandon Bolden came out of the backfield and caught the ball 40 yards downfield. Brady had a lot of time to throw that.

Even though the receivers are back, we may see more pressure on Brady this game.

I'm going respectfully disagree here. I think the Pats O line has problems and they are trying to knit together. They looked pretty decent against KC, and Belichick, I believe, will be spending plenty of time making them play together better. I think we have seen a gradual improvement in the last couple of games.
Belichick also knows that Brady having time is what this game will pivot on and there is no way he will not improve that line.

I'm not saying this is going to change the game or anything. I'm just noting the Denver guys couldn't find the footing to get to Brady.

The Pats will do what the Steelers did with some success: squat on everything underneath and dare Manning to beat them deep (where McCourty will no doubt be patrolling). That's what every team that has played Peyton has done. He can no longer drive on the ball. It's why he's a shadow of his former self.

Having JE and DA back gives TB is offensive rhythm back.
