Other than maybe Hightower, I don't see any of these opt-outs playing for the Patriots in 2021. And Hightower better be prepared to take a pay cut. Belichick isn't going to let these guys take a gap year and then walk right back on to the team.

It doesn’t help no Qb could get the ball to anyone on a consistent basis.
White will go to a team who knows what he can do when fed the ball he’d be deadly in Green Bay, LA Chargers.

The RBBC works year in and year out... sometimes we have what looks like the "main man" developing, but they don't do the bell cow thing (watch them now settle on a main back they'll ride for 10 years since I said that...) Anyway all that said, we're getting a guy back who's pretty much a known quantity and can play a role at high level? COOL! 1 less question mark.

Bolden is being vastly underrated in this thread IMO. Dude is a terrific special teams player and a really good backup RB. Assuming he hasn't lost a step, I'm thrilled to have him back.

Yep; and if he has lost a step (or more), then we need to find a younger version of him with a 7th-rounder or in the UFA and/or UDFA markets.

Obsession, how so? He's one of their better core special teamers, has averaged 4.5 yards per carry for his career, including matching that average the last time that we saw him. He's on a reasonable contract and has been cut twice by the Patriots.
