N’Keal Harry Requests Trade

The biggest mystery is how Harry fooled Bill into thinking he had any shred of football intelligence or intelligence in general.
That is my biggest question. Who the fark evaluated this front-running, blameless diva and came away thinking he was NEP material.

Willfully ignorant... like looking at video and blaming the moment they roll the tape, as if the you couldn't see where people are or were lined up.

Uh… you can’t. The snap has already taken place. In many cases, Cam or Stidham had already gone through their first reads. To get an idea of alignment, you need to see what’s happening before the snap. Not after. If you think you can see that taking place in the highlight video you posted, screenshot a still pic and post it.

Like Chatham is wrong not because the video evidence shows he's wrong,

The video evidence did show he was wrong. The team spending ludicrous amounts of guaranteed money on “weaponz” showed he was wrong. The proof is in the pudding.

but because he's Matt Chatham and as a negative Nancy you dislike his optimism.

I’m beginning to think this debate has more to do with defending Chatham than it does with Harry.

And regardless of where people are lined up my point stands, Agholor was signed to replace Byrd... not Harry. They signed a speed demon to take the top off defenses, which Byrd provided last year, Harry is irrelevant to the conversation because like I said I never mentioned him and was speaking to the players that were here and wanted to be here. They didn't hire Bourne's slow azz to replace Harry or Byrd either, they have to account for Edelman.

I never argued otherwise. My argument was pretty straightforward unless you were trying to straw man it into something else entirely - Meyers is replacing Harry. That became clear since Meyers effectively took his snaps at the end of last season and never looked back.

When they signed Bourne N'Keal Harry was still in their plans and on the roster.

You have absolutely no way of knowing that. The common consensus was that Harry was on the bubble before the trade request and wasn’t a lock to make the team by any stretch of the imagination. If you have other information proving that he was still in the team’s plans, please feel free to share it

Again... Harry Harry Harry... you can't have a conversation about the rest of the guys without obsessing over the one who didn't work out... even if the rest of them are fine.

Big news incoming: This thread is about Harry.

I'm getting upset... can you see that from my window?

Clearly. I don’t need to see through your window to know you’re getting upset. It bleeds through in your posts because you’re getting your ass handed to you.

Hilarious that you can ascribe emotion to an anonymous poster that's done nothing but school you since day one so you have to explain to everyone how I'm feeling.

Cringe sentence. Maybe take a break from this and go outside for some fresh air. This isn’t that serious.

Harry was hurt for three games... you said Meyers took his snaps those three games

When did I say that? Oh, that’s right. I didn’t. I said Meyers took his snaps after those games. If he didn’t, then who did? Byrd? Gunner? Asiasi? Keene? Make your case.

because apparently you forgot Cam nearly got him decapitated, now you're pretending like you knew it all along and had another point to make... even though Harry came back and played nearly as much as he had prior to injury.

No, he didn’t. LMAO. For God’s sake, the snap counts are publicly available. He didn’t register over 65% of the offensive snaps until the last week of the season

Edelman was gone, that's where the snaps came from genius.

Which makes it even worse that Harry’s snaps decreased as much as they did once he came back. There was even more opportunity available and yet his snaps swirled right on down the ol’ ****ter.

Open question for the thread - should I keep demolishing this dude? I gotta say, I’m getting a little bored here.

Ted Johnson on Tom Brady departure and the lead up to the Harry trade request: “I think the Patriots, quite honestly, have lost that thing that makes them the Patriots,”

Basically, Brady was the buffer that kept guys in line and covered up Bill’s “warts”. Now that’s he’s gone, you see players like Harry complaining publicly.

There’s more interesting thoughts but I don’t won’t to copy and paste the entire article.

Now I'm Matt Chatham again, I thought we solved that riddle?

Oh yeah, I was posting on game day threads from my Blackberry flip phone on the sideline and Belichick either didn't notice or care... oh wait, you were in middle school then, so you don't understand the flip phone reference or having to deal with the struggle that was dial up internet.

Go back to sleep junior, if I say "I believe" in a sentence that clearly denotes I'm not "confidently" providing an answer and guessing based of memory... mainly because I don't care enough to look.
Maybe you’re getting senile but when you pass yourself off as a know it all and can’t even name half the receivers Bill took in the first three rounds and then try and worm your way out of it you look like a fool. If you weren’t so smarmy people wouldn’t continually call you out for being clueless.

We really outta just stop drafting WRs and just stick to vets.
The problem with that is now we can’t sign the Brandon Lafell and Chris Hogan types and have a competent offense. We no longer have Brady to act as the rising tide lifting all ships. We will need to sign that next level of receiver who will cost significantly more than a guy on a rookie deal.

Might as well just put him on ignore. He's never shown any potential upside.

Again it's a group decision but the exact same OC was here when we busted not just NKeal Harry, Aaron Dobson, but also Chad Jackson. then went to ruin the 2010 Denver Broncos. The day BB retires will be a very very sad day.

Pure garbage.

Law tried to shoot his way out of town.

Branch shot his way out of town.

Mankins called out the org.

Michael Bennett acted like an idiot.

All occurred when Brady was here.

Harry is just an idiot.

It is not a group decision. You keep saying that but it's not true.

BB leaned way too much on Harry's coaches. That is a fact.

QB aside, do you think this offense wr driven?

If so then you might be right.

If not then why would we have to?

I agree. If the whole “Bill liked Harry because he nailed the interviews” thing is true then how the hell did we get here? It’s not just the trade request either, it’s the trainer blaming Cam, and also the whispers that he wasn’t putting in the work.

2009 Broncos.

Thanks for the correction. Completely decimating a good Broncos team via idiotic trades and draft choices and then going to wreck the 2011 St Louis Rams (worst offense in the entire league).

You’re correct, but I don’t remember anything about Law. He just left after the ‘04 season where he was injured.

Throw Moss in there too. I don’t think Brady did enough to put out the fire there.

How about Gronk?

Cassius March also told Belichick he was "using him" wrong as well

Say what you want about Cutler, but trading him for Orton was idiotic. Ditto on Brandon Marshall.

His moves were laughable.

OK you're right. It wasn't a group choice, we burned a 1st round pick on Laurence Maroney not due to group choice but because Josh McDaniels' brother, Ben McDaniels, was Maroney's coach at Minnesota. I forgot that. Thanks for the reminder. It wasn't a group choice.
