Doesn't matter. No team is trading for a guy who says he won't play there. There's no protection for it and it wastes everyones time. A no trade clause is more about having the leverage to lock a team down so they are forced to negotiate an exit with you on your terms.Does he have a no-trade clause so that he can control where he goes?
A team that trades for him is giving up a second or the equivalent of it. Nobody is doing that if they aren't 100% sure he's playing and all in on going there
