N’Keal Harry being put on IR

I kinda get the sense they actually want Harry to fail, so they'll have more fodder to justify their miserable existence.

We have a bit of that here JB. I think its funny that we have one poster who $hits all over the team non-stop but disappears when they win - especially when the win the SB

Just miserable peeps projecting. Sad

people underrating this. With Gronk gone he should have been key. DT is old, and Gordon, who knows what will happen.

Sony will be this years weapon.
I’m not worried about the games he is out, as far as play on the field, we have the best wr group we’ve had in 10 years even without him.
I’m worried about stunting his development.

I'm perfectly fine with this development. NH has plenty of time to develop, including this year. I'm looking for another SB win before the end of the TB era, and with the veteran WRs, I believe they have a better chance than with rookies like Harry/Meyers, this year.

+1. Not only that, but looking at this season's schedule, the Pats are set up nicely with a late bye week (after game #9). After that bye, they have in order: Philly, Dallas, Houston, KC.

I LOVE that their toughest stretch is right after the bye week after game #9. Let them get Harry back and fully healthy (cross fingers) for that. That would be a nice shot of adrenaline for the team.

Look at that schedule - - it's a thing of beauty! The first 9 games, they can easily go 7-2. The only games that scare me a little are Cleveland (not really, and it's in Foxboro) and Baltimore in Baltimore (for which Harry can actually return in time for). The real tough stretch is those 4 games after the bye. Let's have a healthy Harry to inject into the team.

Not sure what precipitated that, but I hope you're ok.

Yes

Washington did not put up big numbers with Juju and Brown on the roster.

Didn't you follow that situation last season?

Basically, Brown was fighting with Ben for looking Jujus way when Brown is supposed to be the star of the show. Juju was taking away from Brown.

Washington now moves into Jujus slot and all reports are that it's gone real well. Sure it remains to be seen, but Pitts track record speaks for itself when it comes to finding WRs.

You mean like how the Patriots record speaks for itself winning Super bowls?

Thread will be revisited like most of the Homers you've been wrong before.

Being optimistic and positive, and being wrong sometimes, is still a hell of a lot more fun than being relentlessly pessimistic and negative.

I like harry. He's kind of like d thomas with better hands. While in ir, is he allowed to be with the team at all? In meetings?

I too noticed the early season games are easiest. Only hard game imo is pittsburgh. I think baltimore will be easy as their qb is somewhat one dimensional.

Let's go Harry!

Of course I’ve been wrong before. I’ll be wrong many more times in the future also. Just like everyone else here.

What’s your point, son?

Why do you fear the ratbirds?

DT has played 142 games including playoffs and he is 50th all-time in receptions...Harry has not played a single game and has better hands.

Remember how awesome Aaron Dobson's hands were before he played an NFL game?

I hear ya, but it’s Only because it’s in Baltimore. Still a tough D and Harbaugh is the rare coach who isn’t afraid of BB. In Foxboro, I wouldn’t have much worry. Even in a Baltimore I have only a little this year.

Harbaby is a whiney ***** who easily gets out schemed and when he does he cries foul like a little *****. A loser coach who road the coat tails of Ray Lewis and Ed Reed.

Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are gone. Their so called CB depth that was hyped up by fans and media was a sham. Right now ratbirds fans are terrified of Cyrus Jones playing nickel since he's been giving up completions during the preseason.

Ed Reed and Ray Lewis were over the hill when Harbaugh won that Super Bowl. The team rode a hot Joe Flacco into a Super Bowl win.

The point I'm making is that Ray Lewis and Ed Reed could get their D in the right position so it was harder for the Pats O to outscheme them. That's why they were so hard to play. But yes Jump Ball Joe DPI's were a problem.

Flacco was dead to rights in the AFCCG until Talib was injured. They flat out could barely move the ball.

They also had a break with Gronk being out.

Still have no idea how the Pats O had such a hard time moving the ball on the Ravens slow *** D. Not to mention they had a supporting cast of pedestrians such as Paul Kruger and Dannell Ellerbe getting overpaid in the offseason.
