Moss' Legal Team: Woman Victim of "Consensual Horseplay"

Doesn't surprise me. Pat's fans assume because this team is smart, so are we... Half the posters in these threads never read before posting, and half of the rest get their panties in a bunch over something not directly related to the incident at hand and digress into moral or legal hijack mode...

Well, glad I read through the crap. To recap as relates only to Randy's legal situation, I now know her finger was hurt in some sort of horeplay, though not badly, he tried to convince her there was nothing wrong with it a little ice therapy wouldn't cure, which the x-rays seemed to bear out, Randy was having dinner and watching a game at her house because she was an old friend from Marshall he's know for years who invited him over, whom his family apparently knows as well, probably including the mother of his children whom he never did marry although he is obviously providing for them though not residing in the same state even in the off season...

And she was ambulatory and still breathing when he left the house - at least well enough to make some phone calls and hatch an extortion plan...

I doubt the TRO will be upheld and I doubt Randy will even appear in court as a result. And not only has this bimbo lost a friend, she is toying with losing her house to legal fees once the post season is behind us...because Randy's lawyer will bury her. So I doubt she proceeds once she comes to that realization. She is either a latent sociopath or she got some REAL bad advice from a former bartender turned radio news babe and some skanky lawyer someone introduced her to.

BTW for those of you with short memories - nothing distracts this team. Just the easily distractable fan base.

Eh... I've read the San Diego forums. It doesn't get much stupider than that bunch. They're just as bad as IndyStar, if not worse. You could combine the intellectual power of both sites and still not have the wits of a lobotomized canary.

Good, I I hope they are reading this. Here's a message. "We own your ass, and can't wait to send your broke-ass crybaby QB and "the classy one" hobbling back to SD on Sunday.".

Seems to be turning out she hurt her finger, and no sex was involved.

Don't jump to conclusions. She could have injured herself attending to Philip Rivers and Moss will be in trouble if it was on his property.

From what I've heard this happened at her house. They were engaging in horseplay when she hurt her finger. Randy maintains, and I believe that it was a result of an accident. He even put ice on her finger. Then come the allegations of preventing her from obtaining medical care, which I don't really understand. As Moss said, she owned her own car, and it was her own house. Moss left shortly after that.

Victim Fires Back

As the evidence will show, there is serious doubt that Mr. Moss is capable of recalling with clarity the exact details of what transpired that evening. As Mr. Moss has previously stated, "Do your homework and check his resume.

So they're obviously saying he was under the influence when this happened. Just alcohol? Weed? Both?

Moss Should Countersue for Extortion

Now, I'm an expert of law by any means, but I'm pretty sure this is illegal:

is telling multiple media outlets that the woman who sought a restraining order against Moss asked him for $500,000 last week to keep the story quiet. Moss refused, and the story surfaced on a Florida radio station Wednesday.

Isn't that blackmail?

Re: Moss Should Countersue for Extortion

I think he should just put it all behind him and forget about it.

Also the lawyer said his action led her to not be able to drive, then couldn't she call an ambulance? This story gets weirder by the minute.

She deserves worse than jail.

Weed, I think. That's where the "check the resume" dig comes in.

Randy's lawyer has got to be banging his head against the wall that Randy was so chatty about what happened, talking about "accident" and what not.

It doesn't sound like there are going to be criminal charges, so I guess they're just paving the way for a civil suit.

I just read that press statement and there was no explicit allegation of alcohol or drug use.
They made a vague statement in the hopes that people such as yourself would jump to conclusions. They are trying to win this trial through the presses, not with the facts.
Basically they are trying to nail Moss because he didn't drive her to the hopsital himself after she dinged her finger? There's just not a lot here folks.
The money digger's attorney knows this, and that's why they are speaking in as vague terms as possible.
When you get right down to it you still have the FACT that the ex-rays on her finger were negative. How do you get around that?

That rebuttal statement means little... no matter what the facts, the lawyer is always going to issue something similar. The lady and lawyer have very little to lose. If Randy misrepresented the situation to the press he has a great deal to lose.

Re: Moss Should Countersue for Extortion

I doubt anything will happen Rachelle Washington.

The atty representing her is going to have an ugly time in front of the board of character and fitness defending his actions. I doubt full disbarment if this is a first offense, but a suspension could be in order.

Starting to sound like she hurt her finger, claimed she could drive because of it, and demanded Randy take her to the hospital. He refused and left.

Who can drive with a hurt finger? Be reasonable, people. She's not a super hero.

He was being very vague, and why have the cops not been called.

What exactly has he done that would violate Florida's rules of professional conduct?

she has suffered mental and physical harm as a result of his actions. She simply wants him to take responsibility for what he has done. As a battery victim, she has shown great strength throughout this entire ordeal.

What a sack of sh*t. She suffered "mental harm"? Because of a finger? She "simply wants him to take responsibility for what he has done"? How so? With $500,000? A public apology? Will that suffice? Trash.

So...they were both fooling around during sex, she got hurt, they were high/drunk, neither one could drive, Randy eventually left, lady is pissed at Randy, etc.

She and her lawyer are trying to pressure Randy to settle before this hearing, where presumably this "evidence" that he was smoking some weed and whatever other embarrassing incidents occurred, will come out.

I can't tell if you're being serious but if you are, why would she wait until AFTER she talked to her lawyer to go to the hospital if her finger was hurt that bad. Why not go right after it happened? And you surely can drive with a hurt finger. You have 4 others and a whole nother hand to use.
