Monday Night Football: Seattle Seahawks at St. Louis Rams

If as I expect the Seahawks win this game, they'll be 7-1 after playing 5 of their first 8 on the road. Their remaining schedule:

I don't expect them to lose a game at home, obviously. So of those three remaining road games only the 'Niners game looks tough. If they shore up their O-Line, they'll probably end up going 15-1 or 14-2 potentially with HFA throughout.

At this moment, it looks like the road to the Super Bowl in the NFC will go through Seattle.

Matt Cassel played an entire game in Seattle without a penalty. Tough venue, but not impossible to win there.

****y young and talented team that talks a lot of **** for winning nothing but a few regular season games and WC game against a team with a QB that was missing an ACL. Reminds me of a Chargers team I once knew. They will be one and done in the playoffs.

Matt Cassel also hasn't played against the 2013 version of these Seahawks or that defense.

While yes, it is possible to win at the Link; against them with that defense, their running game and decent passing attack (without Harvin + injuries on O-Line) and that crowd noise, it definitely feels like it's impossible to win there. No one has been able to do it yet in the last 2 seasons and there's a reason for that - they're damn good at home. Their HFA is incredible. That's why if they get HFA throughout the playoffs, you can pretty much pencil them into the Super Bowl.

Jon Gruden really likes Wilson's big hands.

"You know what's really impressive about Kellen Clemens, he doesn't have the biggest hands but he has great height..."

Are the Rams really going to mount a comeback with Kellen "Mark Sanchez 2.0" Clemens?

Seahawks D looks gassed.

4th and Goal, last play of the game, epic.

If 66 hadn't missed his block, the Rams would have gotten that TD on 3rd down

Was anyone actually expecting the Rams to score?

Masterful play call by Schottenheimer!

Tebow time?

What a joke. Terrible play calling. Kellen Clemens sucks.

Why they felt the need to put the ball in his hands at the end of the game is beyond me. Their rushing attack is solely what got them there, but they abandoned it, to try a fade with a QB who has CFL-level accuracy... Pathetic.

Jeff Fisher sucks, Clemens sucks, the Rams sucks, Pete Carol SUCKS!!!

and oh yeah the Jets SUCK!!!

I'm not sure Bill Walsh could have drawn up a play in the sand that gets Kellen Clemens a touchdown vs that defense.

on first and goal, Sherman grabbed the receiver in the end zone...no call...ball should have been spotted at the one...and the fixes continue

Empty backfield
Free blitzer off the edge
Covered receiver

There's not a single QB in history who'd dependably make that play.

Forehead could probably chuck it up there and Decker or Julius Thomas would somehow come down with it

Not much he could have done against that blitz.

Running the damn ball should've been there only option there. It's what got them down there in the first place. You're at the 1, with the game on the line, and you try that nonsense. That's just moronic playcalling.

The Rams had every opportunity to win the game, the Seahawks were basically giving it to them and they still blew it. They deserved to lose. Scrubs.

Honestly though seahawks just stuffed the rams like 3 times in a row. Throwing it was a no brainer imo. Being an OC is easy in hindsight.
