Lost mobility doesn't explain the poor route running and terrible decision making on blocks
I’m assuming that he’s talking about Sanu actually running the incorrect routes, and not his inability to cut or push off.“Lost mobility doesn't explain the poor route running...”
We have a new leader for dumbest statement of the day.
Exceptional footwork is required to gain separation, be in a position to catch a pass cleanly and turn upfield. This guy being out there on punt returns made me cringe every single time. Then he got hurt, and yeah he never looked right again.
However much I want to give him a pass for playing hurt, there were still issues. Mainly, the balls that bounced off his hands a few times. Poor routes and not being fast are easy to explain...those dropped passes are hard to figure out.
Here's to hoping we get the vs. Baltimore Sanu in 2020, who caught everything and looked like the guy we envisioned when the trade went down.
My mistake. The mere mention of Sanu tends to get me angry and unfocused.
We spent too much to bring in this middling veteran WR. He caught a lot of balls in his first game but got injured and wasn’t the same all year. Fans are calling to cut him as his cap numbers are too high for what you get.
But enough about Danny Amendola’s first year. What’s this about Sanu?

He's still my cap casualty prediction this off season. He's still on the team?
He should've never been returning punts in the first place. I put blame on the coaching staff for this one. You trade a 2nd round pick for a guy who's QB desperately needs help at WR, yet you hang him out to dry fielding punts? This guy being out there on punt returns made me cringe every single time. Then he got hurt, and yeah he never looked right again.
Why do many people point to this game as anything good? He averaged less than 10 yards a catch. His production was pedestrian. And that’s not even counting what the yards attempted actually was. Here's to hoping we get the vs. Baltimore Sanu in 2020, who caught everything and looked like the guy we envisioned when the trade went down.
One doc said he’d be ready to go for the season. Not getting a lot of love here but I expect he’ll return with much improvement. The question now is how soon he'll return.

Are you serious with this comment?
Are you saying leg injuries do not impact running routes effectively?
