Mock draft game discussion thread

Drafted Mccluster because I think he's too good of a talent to be at the end of round 3. With the Div II Indiana CB gone, Mccluster was the choice.

I drafted him as a project for Slot WR. His highlights show he could be the next Welker with some learning.

Also, for 3rd down and midrange, Rivers in shotgun, Sproles to the left of him, Mccluster to the right of him, that will cause some matchup problems.

I'm surprised he went undrafted thru the 2nd let alone almost the 3rd.

So once this 3rd round is complete we will suspend the mock draft until Monday April 5th. With it being Easter weekend and the apparent overall lack of interest it seems like the best course of action. In the meantime those who sincerely want to continue with the remaining 4 rounds should post and those that don't will have their GM spot reassigned.

As the prospects names become less familiar and the chance of duplicated picks becomes more likely I figured giving 3 hours in between deadlines going forward would be a good idea.

The GMs in bold have commited to continuing so if you don't see your name in bold then you need to let us know you wish to continue or your team will be replaced by another poster.

I am still here...just have fallen asleep since my last pick at the top of round two and no third round pick. I am ready for April 5th and my pick.

This all being said I am sure that Shanahan will look to trade down to get some second round picks as I did with the Saints last year in our mock draft.

What do you guys think of my new schedule? It will cut it very close to the actual draft day but I was thinking we'd probably speed through the last round similar to how we did last year. If you guys don't like it though we can go back to the original schedule of 8 picks per day.

I don't mind. But why don't we start over and allow trades, or would that take too long? Trading adds a lot of intrigue to the draft!

Starting tomorrow any teams that don't have a name in bold beside it's name will be up for grabs to ANYONE including current GMs of other teams. No more than 2 teams per GM.
