I think it's a great pick as well, although slightly surprised that he hadn't gone earlier.

The funny thing is how different McCoy and Favre are. One's a gunslinger who can throw through walls, the other a hyper-accurate passer who struggles to zip it outside the numbers.

I didn't think of it that way, they are opposite QBs. Mccoy and Harvin would be hard to defend with quick, short, passes.

So is Mccoy, Chad Penninton with a bigger ceiling?

I agree with Linebacker. I would pick Butler from Washington. Really athletic guy who played well at the Shrine game and had a great combine.

That makes good sense. He seems to be the type of guy that Gregg Williams would like- good motor, speed, lots of aggression, OK in coverage and can blitz a bit. I suspect he might even move him to OLB in the 4-3.

Rams need linebacker help and the depth is very thin there. I decided to pair Navorro Bowman with James Laurinaitis and this will help with Bowman's adjustment to the pro game and have a mentor as well. We know about the off the field issues and this pairing will help his development I believe.

I'd probably have gone with Koa Misi to the Saints, just because I think he can stand up in a 4-3. But Butler's not horrible; just a little early considering they also have Arnoux who's relatively similar.
