Most people think Milton will be on the 53-man roster to start the season. There's also the question of the Pats carrying 4 or 3 QBs, so I'll blend the two questions in this poll, because I think they are linked. I believe in the wisdom of the crowds.

Should have a "Too early to judge" option that's where I would land.
I think the last 2 options are the same. If he passes through waivers he's a FA and the Pats can also sign him to the practice squad as can any other team.

How many times over the years has the fan base gone gaga over a big arm that had nothing else behind it? I'll be pleasantly surprised if this is not more of the same.

Let this not escape you Milton is already better than the Zapper nuff said!

You're going to be surprised he wasn't a First Rounder we got him in the 6th "Value".

Malik Cunningham is going to be our starting QB...

Nathan Rourke has a real shot at being a starting QB...

Wash, rinse, repeat...

And don't get me wrong, I think Milton has the best chance of these three to carve out a backup QB role in this league or potentially start one day... but he played six years in college and only started one. I see a Jacoby Brissett ceiling...

Mayo said he was too talented not to take a second QB.
That doesn’t sound like a guy on the bubble.
Nice Purdy was Mr irrelevant in 2022 the same year BB took Zappe in the Fourth. How has Mr Irrelevant turned out?? It's going to be fun watching Maye and Milton develop they have very similar tools.

Purdy started all four years in college.

Milton stayed six years in college and started one... his final season.
And that's an indictment that he will be trash in the Pros??

Nah, QB's have long shelf lives. They can bounce around rosters or work as backups for a decade or more.

I see a solid backup as his future, but he could surprise and I could be wrong.

I'm just laughing at all the Patriot fans implying that he's some hidden superstar in waiting.

I see his future as Ray Lewis...perhaps being involved in the ending of a person. Possibly two.

He can throw the ball as far as you want, but not with accuracy.

Completed 38% of his throws beyond 10 yards. Has no touch on his passes.

Have Joe come in the game and throw Hail Miltons? YES. But, how many long bombs do you see teams throw per game? Maybe 3 on a good day? The Pats go weeks without going for broke.

His arm is much stronger than Brissetts... but he doesn't have the touch or accuracy short and that's why he fell in the draft.
