Miami week

Except they only have trouble with them down in Miami. They kill them in NE. Just look at the last few years.

Playing in the Miami sauna is a real home field advantage early in the year, most teams aren't used to the heat. Thank goodness the first game is in NE this year, hopefully it will be cooler when we play in Miami.

The Jags/Packers game hit 110 on the field this past weekend. I had friends there that said they were pulling passed out Packers fans out of the crowd to give them fluids. It's crazy how hot some of these games in the southeast can get.

I'm thinking yes seeing the game is on Jan 1.

Play football in South Florida during the summer and you'll see why the Pats have trouble with them in Miami.

Not football but we in NE were bought by a Ft Lauderdale FL company. I'd play hoops with our guys sometimes. I sucked but we had a very good 6'7" Croat and a maybe even better 5'7" speedster. Anyway we're in FL for some engineering meeting and the Floridians had challenged us to a game.
Noontime. Summer.
As expected, we start up blowing them off the court but after 20 minutes we were done. DONE.

MIA had Russ running for his life last week. I don't know the state of SEA's line, but it can't be that much "worse" than ours . . . and what I mean by that is that we're starting two rookies, a second year man and two backup LT's. That'll be something to watch. MIA usually plays NE tough in between the clunkers. It'll be another tough game, but I know NE is up to the task.

Seattle has the worst offensive line in the league, right now.

I play hoops about 4 days out of the week usually and yeah, it's brutal. The days where the heat index goes up near 100, I don't even bother. You feel like you're going to die. Two a days in full pads? Not sure how I ever survived those.

Kind of off topic, but I saw this commercial the other day. It's actually true. High school skill position players in places like Belle Glade and Pahokee build their speed and cutting ability in the offseason by chasing and catching rabbits in fields for local farmers...

even when their OL was good, Wilson spent a bunch of time running for his life.......the way he runs around back there makes him hard to protect

Call me kooky but at this stage I feel fairly confident for this 'Phins matchup for now..... Was DJ Foster active for the Cards game? Anyone? Anyone?

Earl Mitchell placed on IR

Seattles Oline was awful and Tannehill wasn't very good

unless the game plan is JG hangs to the ball as long as Wilson
we should not worry
maybe his reading and throwing needs more proof
his Houdini escape acts are already well documented though

but it will be another good test of our OL, no doubt about that

This is going to be a tough game. If Jimmy G thought he faced a good pass rush on Sunday night just wait until he sees what the Dolphins front line throws at him. The Fins will put big pressure on him all game long without blitzing.

Short term IR, I think. Either way he's missing sunday.

Well technically there is no more short term IR. Guys just go on IR and teams can bring one back, they don't have to be designated anymore.

Cheaters. Bet they warm the Gatorade too.
