Sorry to say this, and I've been defending the guy all along, but if he's a 4th or 5th rounder, then after tonight he's off the team and on the practice squad.

Like James Sanders? Who I'm sure we were disgusted with as well. Let's not forget that Meriweather, although he didn't make that INT, was still there to at least deflect the ball. He'll get criticized for not making that play, but he still made a good play on the ball. That isn't a bad play. Unfortunately, the perception of Meriweather would be better if he was on the other side of the field...

And again, missed tackles, it happens. Hopefully that gets corrected.

Samuel was the one at fault on that one. Come flying in towards nothing.

Meriweather was playing deep left-center. Came a second late to make a hit, but jumped well enough to force the receiver out of bounds.

He's looked pretty good out there, all in all. Made at least one excellent tackle so far. Go re-watch the Indy-Jax game. You want to see bad tackling, watch the Indy safeties.

Yea, that play was more on Asante than anything. Samuel missed a few tackles on Willis, and he was beat a few times. Like Gay last week, hopefully this is Asante's bad game, which was still pretty good.

I was waiting a while and wanted to be patient with the kid but he blows.

He sucks.

Missed tackle and more importantly dropped the game sealing interception.

sanders also got killed on a pass play against Broncos for like 70 yards ..terrible

Sanders and Samuel had double coverage on that Javon Walker reception.
