Not sure what you are doing Huck, you're usually pretty straight up, and fairly normal.
FOLLOWING THE 2 clowns on here, will help noone.
Fkn twins are pathetic.

People that picked Doubs as an extra are super excited.

Not sure what you are referring to here What? I made this thread because I argued pretty strenuously against keeping Jones as the PR because they need him at CB, but he absolutely proved that I was wrong yesterday. He changed the complexion of that game in the blink of an eye.

Decision to start a thread on time you were wrong is a brave decision and a terrific first step.

If you need help broadening the scope, just let me know

I was wr.... wr...wr....wr...wrong.

I argued earlier this year that it wasn't worth risking injury to Marcus Jones.
Tell me you're a certain age without telling me you're a certain age.

1) You're not the first person to say such nonsense about Marcus Jones. The libel and slander about him this offseason has reached clownshow heights.

2) He's the best returner in football. He needs to be out there. He needs to be out there on Kick Return too, but for whatever reason they don't do it.

And offense

I'm fine with them not using him on offense. He'd be too much of a tell at this point.
He'd probably be our second best WR but I agree with being ok not using him on offense because he needs to focus on D and STs. Doesn't mean I don't want to be greedy and see it.

I don't know about that. He doesn't have a ton of experience on offense (a little, but not much, he didn't play offense in college hardly at all), and he *is* like 5'7".

Ok maybe a little hyperbole but I'm trying to be the leader of the Marcus fan club

I was thinking about this a lot this weekend, specifically, how this board whined about Thornton playing decent in KC. It doesn't take a lot of thought process to see that the best QB in the NFL might, just maybe, raise the level of play with the guys around him. Now Drake's starting to play well, and suddenly the pass catchers in Foxboro don't look to be the worst in the league.

My point is that they don't need to put out a 5'7" guy to get production. If the offense is going to throw the ball only 20ish times per game, the guys they have are ... *gulp* adequate. There's already a speedy hobbit on offense that can't sniff the ball anyway.

I think the misuse use comes from using him on punt returns and not kick off returns. With the new rules, a good KR is a valuable asset.

I think there is a line of thinking that the new kick off is similar to a run play. And both our kick returners are RBs. And they are both pretty good returners. I still think Marcus would be better and should be used too.

More Marcus please!

Yeah I'll make the same admission. I've been arguing that they should use Douglas in that role because he should be the #4 WR instead of an actually featured guy and he projects well enough in the role to be worth saving Marcus Jones since he's more important on defense. But he's just such an absolute weapon there that you have to ride with it.

And they have two out there who seem pretty damn good.
