The League leader in non offensive TDs this year was Marcus Jones.

I might be wrong but I feel like he is supremely underrated nationally.

65 tackles 3 ints 1td 2 sacks 1 fumble recovery
17.3 yards per return (tied for first)
2 td tied for first

It is so good that he is signed long term

A real dynamic player. Fun to watch. I worry about his stature.

Larry Whigham esque.

Larry Whigham was never half this good.

Maybe not half a good but twice the size. Wait... does that make him only a quarter as good?

Maths is hard

True, Whigham was like 6'2" iirc.

Marcus Jones could legitimately make an all-pro at two positions this year. Whigham was a fan favorite, but never in that stratosphere.

The comparison was that they play two positions well.

Whigham was badass and actually made you watch the Pats defend kicks and punts. He's by far my favorite non returner special teams player. Like Jones, he was also their nickel/dime guy as a S. The difference is that Jones returns kicks.

Deion Sanders is the patron saint of return men who also played CB.

Darrien Gordon is probably closer to Marcus Jones, a slot CB with a lot of juice. He also was strictly a punt returner like Jones, Deion returned kickoffs as well.

Darrell Green not to be forgotten.
