Didn't he play with a bad injury last year?
What I know on Devin McCourty's injury: Nothing is broken and more tests are needed. Should know more tomorrow
I heard possibly a separated shoulder.
Hopefully he's not IR'd...

Separated shoulder was exactly what I thought it was when I saw it, and doubly so when I heard about him not raising his arm over his head. Guessing Grade 3ish. I recently had a grade 2 and I could only raise my arm under massive pain, figure he has a much higher pain threshold than I do.
mccorty has not been the best this year but he still our best cb... we can afford to miss him next week , not against the eagles...
hoping the 1-2 week timetable is realistic. Need him back soon.
Actually, if there's any time of the year to get such an injury (not that there is a "good" time for anything like that), it's now. Easiest finishing 7-game stretch in the league, playing some horrific passing teams (Mia, Was, Den, etc.). But it's also right at the beginning of this stretch, so it gives him the maximum time to heal for the playoffs. If they get the #2 seed, he could take 8 weeks to heal and be ready for the divisional round.
Again, this stinks on a host of levels, but this would be the "best" time of the year for it to happen.
