No crying about nepotism? You're losing your touch.
Nobody cares about a S&C coach who was hired by Belichick a year before he hired Jerod. That's right, hired by Belichick! Been with the team for 6 years.

“He was very sharp,” said the coach. “There were a lot of people in there (including Robyn Glaser, who didn’t ask any questions) and you could see a lot of note-taking going on, but Jerod was fully engaged. His questions were really good and he asked great follow-ups where you could tell he was engaged. He wasn’t just reading them off a piece of paper.

It makes sense that the Krafts would have a football liasion overseeing how the front office and the coaches were running things. But I didn't anticipate this level of micromanagement. Note taking during interviews, etc. In my organization, when we make decisions on personnel or other very important decisions, we limit the group that's privy to discussions (and that includes upper management and upper administration) because we want people to be absolutely free in whatever they're going to say and in whatever assessment they are going to make. In my experience, you open things up and people become much more guarded in what they're willing to reveal. An outsider from another organization is going to immediately take note that many people are in the room and that so is ownership, essentially, and they are going to take that into account when determining what kind of place Foxboro is for a coach. This has nothing to do with Glaser being good at her job, it has everything to do with her notetaking. Presumably, you can have a secretary in there to take minutes. She's not transcribing anything for anyone, but rather reporting to the owners.

How do you know she's "reporting to the owners" and not just there to offer guidance to Mayo if he needs it? Before you make a comment about the note-taking, every person does things differently when they interview people.

You have a new hire in Mayo who hasn't been through the process from being the hiring manager side. For all you know, the note-taking was to give MAYO feedback on his performance during the interviews and done at his request. Part of Glaser's title is Senior Advisor the the Head Coach, after all.

I think your assumption that the Krafts are "micromanaging" anything is way off. As is your claim that the interviews are badly run. You're making the claims based on 3rd hand information.

Parcells taught us that the first goal is getting into the playoffs,

Belichick taught us that the first goal is winning the next game.
Maybe, but the goal around here was always:

1. Win the division.
2. Try to get HFA.
3. Win AFCCG.
3. Win SB.

Which transformed into:

1. Moral victories are a good thing.
2. Can we back into the playoffs, and
3. But if this that & the other, we'd won X more games.

BoB isn't coaching for the Pats. He moved back to the college game.
That's how I initially read it. Lol.

I see Brady in those beautiful 90's jersey's. Bring those 90's jersey's back!

This was the standard set in NE every year.

These? Hell no. They were awful.

THIS is fire combo, with white pants.

And this as their away.

Some minor alterations to modernize the look would be fine
They are both great, I’m sorry I became Pats fan with the royal blue look so it’s nostalgic for me. I like it a lot better than the navy blues.
I hated the uniforms change.

I think it’s time to scrap it.

I agree.

I would add a 1a: get a wildcard spot.

I like the old school, I like the 90s, and I like 00s, but these latest ones are not so good.

90s jerseys were my favorite.
Those jerseys were fire.
Someone get in Krafts ear please.

Someone posted a video on here a while ago of the guy who manages the jerseys and he said the 90's jersey (96-99) is the most sought after. So whoever disagrees and doesn't like it, you're in the minority.
