I’m making an observation. not making fun of anyone.
I'm making an observation too. But I suppose I am making fun of you because it's such a ridiculous thing to do in a Patriots message board.

I think it’s silly to be way down on this team out of spite because a coach is no longer here… but that’s just me.

In no universe is Milton better than Maye. Don't have to worry about that one.

Which part don't you agree with @archstanton543 ?

- The fact that the Jets fixed the left side of their offensive line? (they did)
- The fact that it only cost them $18 million over 2 years? (it did)
- The fact that the Patriots would be 2-1 at worst had they done that? (they obviously would be)
- The fact that they'd be 35-40 million under the cap? (they would be)

Whatever happened to facts over feefees?
The players who they signed for the line weren't signing here. And Smith was signed expressly for the (at best) two year window the jets are aiming at. It would have been a stupid signing for us, even if he WOULD have come here, and he wouldn't have. Plus, it did not cost them 18 million over two years, it cost 25 million, and one of those players is only signed for this year.

For comparison's sake only.....

JAGoby contract..................$8 mill/1year
Red Rifle contract................$10 mill/2 years

One is known for not throwing INTs, a wonderful stable pony disposition, but very little else.
One is a statue with a big-time arm and a recent proclivity for elevating struggling teams when given the job.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Let the defense of the JAGoby signing commence................

As much as I wanted Maye to play, it quickly changed after seeing how bad the OL was collapsing on him.
Wheatley, lowe, Anderson, chuks... what could have possibly gone wrong... LOL

Pot calling kettle black. An unusually large percentage of your posts come out of your spite of BB.
BB completely lost me with the Patricia/Judge stupidity. Telling it like it is.

You have no clue whether they would have come here, and the job of the front office is to get them to come here.
If you think 2 years of what we are seeing is better than 2 years with a solid LT then we should forks a team of UDFAs and not spend any money and carry 250 mill a year greatest spend on players when no one wants to come here.

Judging AVP's play calling/coaching is as wasteful as judging QB play. It all revolves around the offensive line. I hope AVP is here for a bit so we can have some stability for Maye on offense, and the front office doesn't panic and make drastic changes because the OL is the worst in the league

AVP is still an NFL OC. Patricia and Judge are both out of the league.
Surprised you didn't say AVP is better than Bill based on the same logic. You're slipping.

Bill thought it was a good idea to hire them in the first place so... yeah.

I bet even Bill could do better than them as a full time OC.

But why then is it that you're savior AVP can't do better?
