Maybe not pats related any more but diggs ended up not guilty

Well yes that exactly what means legally. But you just want to hate
Stop it, I don't "hate" Diggs you simpleton, just saying being found "Not Guilty" doesn't mean that he didn't do anything.
Doesn't mean he did either, but his lawyer was pretty good either way.

This was a criminal trial, so his burden was merely to raise reasonable doubt that Diggs was guilty, not to prove his innocence. Per ESPN, he didn't need to do all that much.

At times during her second day on the stand, Adams was instructed by the judge to answer questions directly and not include additional details beyond what was asked. Portions of her responses were struck from the record as nonresponsive, with jurors told to disregard them.

"This is not an opportunity for you to interject your own narrative and evade answering questions," Judge Jeanmarie Carroll told her at one point, warning that continued nonresponsive answers could result in her testimony being stricken.

Not sure what this means, but OK.
He did enough to get it dismissed, that's his job.

Thanks

I watched the trial. It was one of the worst prosecutions I have ever seen. No fault of the prosecutor, mind you, just that the alleged victim was absolutely atrocious. She got caught lying, she was belligerent, evasive....
She wouldnt answer her own lawyers questions. Its the most bizzarre court footage I have seen. They trying to lead her and she was saying Attorney /client privalege to her own team.
