I can just see a new rule something like this being added to the already monstrous rule book:

Before teams present the referees with the footballs they intend using they
will insure the balls are filled in a room that is 75 degrees F and filled to a pressure
12.5 to 13.5 lbs/sq in, plus the Temperature Factor.
The Temperature Factor will be calculated to be (0.045 degree F) x (75 - outside temperature).

The Temperature Factor will come to be known as the BB factor.

A new rule that says if you're going to cry about petty **** your have to do it before you get your ass handed to you.

This will henceforth be called the- BB doesn't tolerate crybaby *****es rule

No new rules should be made. The fact is, weather can alter the PSI of a football. Unless they plan on monitoring each ball throughout the game and adding/letting out pressure if they go below or above the limits, there is nothing they can do.

I don't give a f### if they stuff them with feathers. Screw the NFL.

They will probably go back to new balls. I think it may even go to the refs supplying the balls and having the home team pony up. And then all the QBs can blame Harbough and Irsay for getting their panties in a bunch for getting their butts whooped.
