Comical yet predictable.I find it comical that someone would consider the statements from the central character in the narrative on what happened "hearsay."
Edit: Flew over my head as well

There is nothing for MB to be guilty about.I think like @Ghost of Ben Dreith said, if he tells the whole story and admits some guilt, then it makes sense. I still think the entire game was excessive, but that's while not knowing the entire story. If there was a physical altercation against a coach, as some rumors out there said, it makes sense. If it's less than that - and Butler apparently downplayed the severity of it on his radio appearance today, which seems to rule that out - that will obviously be disappointing.
Except didn't Butler play 1 snap on special teams?I know I am probably wrong, but I am going to play the percentages. Somehow Joe Judge is responsible.

i am completely 100% of the opposite mind.As time has passed, most of us have adopted the Bill Eff'd Up point of view on it, regardless of how much IBWT went on back then. I know I was staunchly in the IBWT camp, knowing that Butler's play had deteriorated for whatever reason and he was not the shut down corner he was prior. Now, time has gone by and we look at it with the advantage of hindsight, knowing that the guy probably could have made one stop and they would have won the game. I am interested in seeing what the guy has to say. I don't see how he can say anything that'll make the coaching staff look good.

i think Butler did something he shouldn't have done, and got notified of the hook before the game. He only dressed because there was no other option / last resort due to injuries type scenario. The only thing BB screwed up on was not deactivating him prior to the game to squelch any controversies surrounding the inevitable "why didn't he play" questions
We are gonna find out from the sound of it, eh?

He said he was sick all week and wasn't 100% locked in and focused. I believe him. Probably had the flu/virus which can leave you feeling like **** for a week. The secondary knew he wasn't going to start and it was too late to deactivate him.
The team will not comment on a player's medical situation nor will they give the Iggles any helpful info re: Malcom's health.
Second worst SB decision behind going for it on 4th and 13 from the Giants 31, in a low scoring game, which might actually be the worst statistical/analytics (and common sense) decision ever regardless of playoffs, reg season, etc. Perfect season and 3-peat on the line, but the coach’s contrarian personality was too big for that stuff.
We will never get a confirmation from the Patriots on why he was held out. So this book is essentially hearsay and nothing but a curiosity. Now if he reveals that he did something incredibly stupid and it was his fault....then I would be inclined to believe him.
I still am in disbelief they went for it on 4th and 13 even 16 years laterSecond worst SB decision behind going for it on 4th and 13 from the Giants 31, in a low scoring game, which might actually be the worst statistical/analytics (and common sense) decision ever regardless of playoffs, reg season, etc. Perfect season and 3-peat on the line, but the coach’s contrarian personality was too big for that stuff.
