As they should. As they have ALWAYS done.
If I was a betting man, I would bet the house that in his "documentary:" and book. Malcolm ISN'T going to be the "bad guy". That's just the way it is when a book is done.
I actually believe, #robertweathers got it right on the money. Butler was sick or had in some way tapped out the week before the game. and was simply not ready to go on the field and help. If there was a coaching blow out as some suggested and he WAS ready to play, then the pattern would have been to sit him down for a series or quarter and get him out the door the following season. So while something MIGHT have happened, if Butler had been ready to play, he would have been out there.
It also would explain why Butler has NOT come out and said anything ever. I do not think he would have remained silent so long after that game, IF he were actually able to compete. The issue I can't answer is why was he dressed. However others have given plausible answers for that one.
That being said, after 20 years of unparalleled success, it's NOW the time to kick Bill while he's "down", so this entire chestnut gets roasted.... AGAIN. In EVERY thread, regardless of the topic and content the end result on this board is "the Pats suck" the best owner in professional sports is a "weasel" just looking out for his next "happy ending", and the HC is an idiot and the game has passed him by.
