This is a different animal for both sides thoughWhen has BB let past things bother him, if he thinks he can help he'll bring him in.

Lots of apparent bad blood from the past has apparently been easily forgotten, see the returns of Deion Branch, Jamie Collins, Van Noy, Ben Watson, Karras, and others who I am forgetting. This is a different animal for both sides though

Belichick refused to let the man take the field on defense in a Super Bowl when his defense was getting thoroughly embarrassed. So no, he isn't "bringing in Butler if he thinks Butler can help the team." He didn't do it then so he certainly isn't doing it now. When has BB let past things bother him, if he thinks he can help he'll bring him in.
Have you not figured out yet that belichick could not care less who says what?yes... because i'm sure BB wants the local media to keep banging the "why didn't he play" drum whenever he makes a play...

Listen it both sides have mended the fences, why not? He’s not a solution by any means to our issues if JC were to leave, but it wouldn’t hurt to have an extra vet in the room for depth, maybe someone to push Mills on the opposite side.
2020 16 games - 4 INTs - 14 Pass defensed - 86 solo tackles.He was cooked 5 years ago, that's why.
10 million in immediate cap space would be my guessIt looks like Butler was playing at a very high level in 2020.
Does anyone know why the Titans bailed on him?

This was more of my idea here. I more would just want to sign him on a cheap 1 year deal if anything. Well aware it’s possible he’s cooked.I would be interested in a Butler reunion. We brought back Jamie Collins TWICE.
And he would not be replacing JC Jackson nor Mills in the secondary. He would be competing with Myles Bryant and JoeJuan Williams.
On a related note, how is Jon Jones these days? Recuperating well I hope???
