Mac Jones Through 2 Games (2021 vs 2022 vs 2023) By QTR and Redzone Totals

Mahomes would have Allen would have just to name a few.

Maybe Mahomes. Not Allen.

Again disguised blitz that the defender was literally a half second fast. It wasn't an obvious blitz.

Yes, we get you all hate Mac Jones. But stop asking him to do what the elite QBs can do and most other cannot.

@Rob0729 One of these days Mac is going have to back up your Undying support of him with better play. Let's hope its starts on Sunday.

@Pape Here is the is the video from that play from behind Jones. This has nothing to do with Jones' pocket awareness. And he has zero responsibility for that sack.

Calling that Jones fault is either total ignorance or total dishonesty.

This isn't the case. Long was not selling the blitz until Mac was actually calling the snap. Long tried to time the snap count. He was half second too soon. It was a disguised blitz by Fangio.
Long was standing there, right behind the line, poised ready to come. Then he starts to sneak up before Mac snaps it. That plays 100% on the quarterback. There isn’t enough blockers for the blitz, so Mac either needed to reset the protection or call time out. If you want to fall back that he’s a third year guy and not aware yet, that’s fine. But it doesn’t change the fact that that negative play is 100% on him.

It isn't undying support. I am fighting false narratives by the Jones haters.

One day you will get over whatever Jones did to you to make you have such blind hatred for the guy that you make up crap to criticize him.

Cole Strange should have been Benched on that play alone it wasn't innovative at all just a blown assignment by the LG terrible.

except its not a false narrative.

He was three yards off the ball. Stop making things up.

It is player hating and unwillingness to admit you are wrong.

So you agree that is on Strange and not Jones?

let him walk? They tagged him twice. In a row.

Absolute clown argument. Let Cousins walk for the highest fully guaranteed NFL contract at the time. Plus a 3rd year tag was about 35M.

When I say he is standing right there, what I mean is Mac is looking right him. He’s standing behind the line and then he starts to inch up tipping he is going to rush. There is no disguise to the blitz at all. Mac has to see that and either call time out or reset the protection.

Burrow had no TC or preseason due to injury. It is a false equivalency to compare him to Mac IMO.

Ask anyone who is a Bengals fan: it's because their O-Line sucks ass. I live here and it's all you hear/very apparent.

Mac thru 2 games has had almost identical output as the supposed best QB ever (by some) and the best QB right now while Mahomes has had way better protection

Mahomes 530 yards 4 TD 2 INT 62.5% (his OL has had a 78% win rate)

Mac 547 yards 4 TD 2 INT 68.8% (his OL has had a 37% win rate)
The KC offense has struggled this season.

Comparing Jones to that offense right now is about right.

Go look up Joe Burrow who has had equally bad protection who has a loaded WR core.
This chart tells me that Burrow is still injured and that Wilson and Jones are the worst QBs in the NFL.
Mac thru the 1st 2 weeks
Short safe throws produce high completion percentages and high passing yards when you throw enough passes like Jones did vs the Eagles.

We will be hearing about his 300 yard game ad nauseum next off season.

We had chances to upgrade the OL and are still sitting on a ton of cap. And we just kicked some more money to Brown. I think Bill thinks the Oline is more than serviceable.
