Yeah they award that at the end of the year, not in week 8. He is playing the best for rookie QB's, but there are rookies at other positions too.

I have no idea. He is playing better than Lawrence right now, but there are other factors. I do not know after 7 games which one is better or worse and I could say that about all rookie QB's.

I was not really expecting anything. I figured he would be fine. The pats had a lot of pieces around him and it made it so he did not have to do much early on. I thought he would be fine. The Patriots are about where I thought they would be with him at this point. No surpises. The only rookie QB that I thought would be better at this point is Fields. I mean technically like everyone else before the season I thought the pats were going to run with Cam again, which I hated the idea of. This notion that QB's have to sit a year or they will flop is silly.

Fields is playing better than Mac right now. At least Fields wasn't still on the board at 15 or we'd start hearing noise right now about whether the Pats made the right decision at that spot.

I am confident they did, but let's see what happens.

Best game of the season for the entire team.

The last 4 weeks have been excellent.

I had posited weeks ago the team could maybe have an outside chance to go all the way if we kept Gilmore. But there are too many holes to contend for real. JJones hurt, Mills maybe hurt, Bentley bad, Godchaux not good. And they'll likely screw up the OLine again and still no clue how to use Jonnu. Team will certainly be fun to watch however.

Really enjoying Mac absolutely crushing this year. He's exactly everything I would want in a franchise pocket QB

Best game of the season for him. There were some big time throws in this game. These were not the normal safe throws he has shown this year. Brown coming come helped him a lot. I noticed he is more concern about his RT than his LT. I am more concern by the LT.

Yeah Wynn leads the team in QB pressures given up. Even today he let Mac take a sack from Garrett. Not good when your blind side is shaky. Would rather Trent Brown play LT.

Great OLine play and also the D has had pick6's or given the offense the ball on the 2 yard line. Keep it up. Run-heavy and heavy personnel groupings. Defenses can't stop the BEEF. Don't stat chase passing yards with shotgun, just play straight up smashmouth offense all day every day. So far 4 weeks of good play.
