I think they'll either draft Vernon Gholston (DE/OLB Ohio State, Hmm...sound familiar) or drop down and get Dan Connor (LB Penn State). Gholston could be a more talented Vrabel in the making. Connor compared favorably with Urlacher, at least at The Huddle Report. They're a very reputable source, with several contributing scouts. THR pegged Logan Mankins as an instant Day 1 NFL starter, so they might know something. Either player, with a supplemental FA signing, will upgrade the "second level" immediately and relieve pressure on the secondary. It's a weak CB class, so I'll be surprised if they go there with #7.
 
I don't think they will give up on Woods because he can play special teams and he was a project to begin with. They key is he made progress.
Yes, when I said "give up on" I meant as a rotation or starting OLB, not as a player on the team where he clearly has a role. As he's just finished his second year, I still hold out hope for him as an OLB.
