Coverage #s are from PFF. I couldn't breakdown Jeff Howe or Doug Kyed's coverage stats by weeks (No, I do not pay for this service; it's from my buddy's account so no PFF insults hurled at me )

Prior to Seattle, Ryan's role was primarily the outside #2 CB with an experimentation in the slot with Coleman & Cyrus Jones. Against Seattle he got torched & as well as Coleman in the slot.

Ryan's coverage stats weeks 1-10 (537 snaps):

65 targets 45 receptions 527 yards 3 TDs 0 INTs 108.9 passer rating

After Seattle, Ryan would still be #2 in snaps at CB but his role changed. He now covers the slot on nickel downs with Rowe kicking outside at RCB, similar to how the Broncos use Harris & Roby.

Ryan's coverage stats week 11-divisional round (428 snaps):

47 targets 30 receptions 232 yards 0 TDs 3 INTs 49.2 passer rating

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

He's essentially went from burnt toast to excellent with moving into the slot on most downs. The move's also kept Coleman/Jones off the field. As interesting a transformation over the course of one season for a player that I can remember.

So Chris Harris III? But Ryan was good last year, I think people just overreacted to his poor play early

If Ryan can be consistent as Chris Harris, I would not mind paying him near or at market value....that's assuming he doesnt try to max out his value and get us into a bidding war

Same with Malcolm Butler

Ryan is playing real well but he is not in the same class as CH Jr.

He's not. One or two of those passes broken up was just assweiler assing it up with horrible passing.

Kudo's on the great tipped INT though. That's all him for getting that! I think he also had another pick had ninko not broken the pass up.

That game made Logan Ryan a lot of money in free agency.

i'm curious to what he'll acquire in FA. Will someone throw #1 money at him?

He's finally playing at his best. If he can keep this up, that's a whole nother story

Ryan struggled earlier in the Season, but last night, he played lights out. He was hands down the defensive player of the game. He was awesome.

Don't think any sane team would consider him a #1 CB and pay him that money. He will get nice #2 money which will put him out of our range.

He could do like Cliff Harris Sr., shave his head and just paint the logo on his head.

Recycling and old joke about him being a hard hitter.

I think ryan has been underrated he leads the pats in INT's since being drafted and most of the time covering teams #1 guy and I also think Harris is over rated but still no
