Source: Daniel Baldridge visited Jaguars, worked out for Patriots | National Football Post

Marshall offensive tackle Daniel Baldridge visited the Jacksonville Jaguars and conducted a private workout for the New England Patriots, according to a source close to the program with knowledge of the situation.

His numbers from his Pro-Day:

Height - 6080
Weight - 312
40 yard - 5.20
20 yard - 2.98
10 yard - 1.75

Bench - 22
V/jump - 27
B/jump - 9'01"
Shuttle - 4.70
3 Cone - 7.53

Re: Updated: 4/12/2010 (149 total prospects)

I did a little research on Baldridge. Played right tackle for Marshall. Projects as a UDFA, Round 6/7 is the highest he might go. If we like him, I presume we can get him with one of our Round 7 picks.

Draft Nasty :: Daniel Baldridge
Draft Nasty :: Marshall vs Tulane in Game Scouting Report

#79 RT Daniel Baldridge (6'9'' 311)

Exceptional size for the position. Plays with great arm extension to keep his opponent at a safe distance and has the strength to create forward movement when locked on. Struggles to play with great pad level do to his height in the running game but exhibits the nastiness and determination to finish blocks. In pass pro, I question Daniel's footwork to be able to get back to the depth you would like in order to create a pocket. Displays a different technique when pass setting which doesn't allow him to play with good knee bend or base to anchor vs. bull rushes. Possesses the size and strength to anchor the bull rush but will drastically struggle when playing against smaller speed rushers.

One for the school of Dante.

You can't start putting players down just because we had one scout at the Pro-Day. Who were they watching in particular?

If we started doing that, there would be about 500 names on the list.

Those three guys are all they have. Okay so they have a pretty good punter. This isn't the Alabama pro day. I understand your point. These guys are just too good to have been ignored. Patriots Daily did an interview with Linval Joseph but he would not tell them who he talked to. Can we at least get an RI for him?

Right, after investigating every picture, the scout can be seen watching Linval Joseph and Scotty Robinson working out for the Bengals representative in image #30, so I'll add those two to the list.

There are no more images of him though.

True enough, but the primary reason to be at ECU's Pro-Day is their D-line. While there has been no mention of special attention, I'm pleased it wasn't ignored.

RAC and Cleveland's Ryan brother are both there too.

I noticed RAC in the weight room too. I'll admit I just got bored on this sunday before the draft.

I certainly agree squire. Just been checking out Robinson - he's a legit 6'4" 275lbs, but his numbers are brutal. 5.10 40 yard dash, 4.70 Shuttle, 7.59 cone.

Robinson isn't a target as far as I can tell. Joseph, Jay Ross, and C.J. Wilson are legitimate DL targets for NE.

Re: No Odrick in the first round?

Looking over the list of official visits, I see that Jared Odrick wasn't brought in for an official visit.

Since 2006, every one of the Patriots first picks in the draft (whether in the 1st or 2nd round) has been a guy who came in on an official visit.

Unless they snuck him in for a visit we don't know about, if they pick him at 22 they'd be breaking a 4 year trend.

I really hope they stick with the trend and don't waste this pick on Odrick.

I'm with you.

Graham, Wilson and maybe Hughes or Pouncey would be my picks for #22.

Which probably means we'll all need jaw surgery and a change of undergarments after he takes Earl Thomas.

You could give Kevin Alexander an APD also.

Re: Updated: 4/12/2010 (149 total prospects)

Five Owls with NFL aspirations | Philadelphia Inquirer | 04/19/2010
none of the Owls is certain to be picked, but the hopefuls are safety Dominique Harris (6-foot-3, 215 pounds), linebacker Alex Joseph (6-2, 235), tight end Steve Maneri (6-6, 275), defensive tackle Andre Neblett (6-2, 300), and offensive lineman Devin Tyler (6-7, 305).

-----

Joseph, who visited the Eagles, New England Patriots, New York Giants and Oakland Raiders, had his most recent meeting in Indianapolis with the Colts on April 14.

"My last two visits, they didn't work me out," said Joseph, a middle linebacker who led Temple with 73 tackles. "I went through a physical and some testing. They mainly wanted to meet me, and get some face time with me. They wanted to get to know me a little bit."

Neblett joined Joseph on his trip to meet the coaching staffs of the Patriots and Giants.
