Not sure what you're talking about.

Needs:
QB1
WR1 (assume Parker/Douglas are WR2/3)
TE1
TE2
TE3
RB2 (Rham is RB1, the rest are not RB2)
RB-3rd down
LT
RT (Onwenu isn't a RT)
Swing T
FS (Winfield Jr please)
K

We're not filling all these holes via the draft. Kraft opening the check book is a must. He will. 100%

Agree. BB the GM left the team in the best FA position of any team in the NFL.

Wow, with a glowing recommendation like that - how could you not want him?

Ridley is a great player with mental health issues. We have great player coaches so let the coaches earn their money.Ridley will be a bargain in FA.

I suppose it boils down to two potential outcomes. 1) Mayo and company successfully return the Patriots to Super Bowl Champion status, or 2) He and company are fired after 3 seasons (give or take a season). Only time will tell which outcome it will be.
Yup.

And team who doesn't get to the Super Bowl in the next 3-4 years should fire the HC and his entire staff! NOT!

Let's be generous and 4 years as the metric.

How many coaches failed to win a SB in since 2020 (5 years after Sunday). Should they all be fired. IMHO, the approach to the NFL is horrible. In any case, the patriots organization doesn't work that way.

Only SIX teams have even made it to the SB in the past 5 seasons. Should coaches for the rest be fired (26 of them)? Or should it include we include those who lose the SB among those who should be fired.

We just fired a coach 5 seasons removed from winning his sixth Super Bowl….

We fired a coach that hired Patricia and judge to run our offense

and one who failed in so many personnel/GM decisions.

Our coach, with more control than most, led a 4 year rebuild. Ownership reviewed the trajectory and results and then decided that to move on.

4 years isn't unreasonable.

Great list. I would add a DE across from Judon. Like Josh Allen or Brian Burns or other. The Pats can add void years since BB didn't use them.

Then go after offense in the draft, QB and two tackles. It would be a much better team then people expect if the QB is half decent.
I like it too. However I'd like jaire Alexander. He'd be awesome paired with gonzo

Preach!!

When you asked for the HC/GM title, it comes with expectations. After a rocky start Bill won early on. His methods, his coaching lessons worked with the players over the Brady years. When your tasked with putting rosters together, and coaching the roster that you compile there are expectations that come along with that surpass just being a coach IMO.

Your still in denial, it's ok Bill was great! He's the GOAT his legacy in the NFL history books it set. Mac as I said should have been traded. Bill made probably the biggest mistake of his storied career by keeping Mac on the roster and having his buddies coach him. Who would have thought Mac outlasted Bill!
When your owner thinks Mac is the team brand, he makes the final decision.

John Harbaugh has won 2 playoff games in 10 years. He's still the coach there. He also suffered 3 seasons without playoffs including a dreadful 5 win season.

This board has somehow managed to discuss the football ins and outs of Belichick's recent tenure and yet there's only one thread on the board that discusses the true reasons he was fired, and that's the personal dislike and even perhaps hatred between the coach/GM and the owners. It's the reason Belichick is gone.

A GM was paid 25 million a season to make final roster decisions.. it's funny he had no problem making decisions for juju, judge, Patricia, verderian Lowe, Parker extension, to name a few.

If this were true, which it's not, JuJu and Mac wouldn't be on the team

On a lighter note. In Bill's legendary career this is probably the first time in 4 decades that he isn't going to be connected to an NFL team.. think about that.. since age 24 this is probably the first time he won't be coaching or in some capacity on an NFL team. Just remarkable!

He oversaw and signed the contracts... regardless of the "collaboration " Bill knew everything of every staffer, each players deal.. all the way down to his beloved punters.

That's a career. He's 71. He's coached longer than 99% of his industry does.
I hope he just retires after this year (Because I don't see a high market for a 72 year old who could only do it for a couple more years without acuity drop off)

Agreed, I'd rather see him retire and go into being an analyst. I can't see him on another sideline. At his age he's got nothing left to prove or accomplish, I'm still holding firm that no other Franchise will surpass us for the level of success and how it was done with Bill at the helm.
