But it wasn't like a cargo pocket, it was more like one of those little tiny pockets on girls' jeans, that you say "what are those for, you can't fit anything in there", and they say "oh I put some spare change in there sometimes", but you know they don't.Did he actually have a pocket to be present in?
About the quarterback situation, think we'll be cutting Lindley and getting a journeyman backup, with big game experience who can see us through in case Garoppolo has a rough time? He may develop into something good someday, but Garoppolo looked pretty green and very young out there, and 0-4 would pretty much mean a lost season.
I get that he had second stringers to throw to, but he was also playing against a second and third string defense. The dinking and dunking was not exactly pretty. And it's not like rave reviews are coming out of camp. I'd much rather have 1/4 of my season in the hands of a seasoned vet than a second-year small school guy.I don't think it's an exaggeration to say that it wasn't half the talent he'd have on offense if he had to start Week 1.
he still completed 60 percent of his passes to 3rd, 4th, 5th and worse string players in front of an OL that might as well have not been there.About the quarterback situation, think we'll be cutting Lindley and getting a journeyman backup, with big game experience who can see us through in case Garoppolo has a rough time? Lets get a few things straight, take out Boyce and he was 18 of 21 for 140 yards to
James White (possible 3rd down/receiving back)
Brandon Gibson (possible #4 WR)
Jonathan Krause (2nd year, spent last year on the PS)
Chris Harper (Undrafted rookie free agent)
And for the most part a line of Baker-Mason-Andrews-Jackson-Fleming which maybe Mason or Jackson will be a starter this year (barring injuries).
All that with probably no real offensive game plan.
Sorry if I'm not hitting the panic button on a 2nd year QB like some seem to be.
What vet specifically? There isn't one out there who isn't hot garbage. I know, what about Mike Vick??Not hitting the panic button, just saying why not get a vet for insurance? A month is a long time. (And come on now--this is football; you can't just erase the variables you don't like and give him new, imaginary numbers. His performance is what it is.)

I guess we've been spoiled by the GOAT. he thought Jimmy had a great pocket presence and I was like WTH was he watching? lol i mean really?
There's a very important thing called "context".
Have you any idea with whom he was lining up tonight?
How many OL starters? Hmmm, let's also look.......no Blount, Edelman, Gronk, Chandler, Lafell.......
