I suspect that this camp is the last chance for Harry, Williams, Asiasi and Keene (and perhaps even Winovich). I'm not suggesting that they won't make the team, but I certainly could see any or all of them gone.

Personally, I would like to see Asiasi and Winovich on the 53.

Agreed - except one of Asiasi or Keene will likely stick around. Winovich will remain unless they decide to trade him - he won't get cut, I don't think.

Harry has to do way more in TC and pre-season than he's done on the field for 2 years to stick around, I think (although, they take a cap hit for trading or cutting him - is he still PS eligible? If so, he might get stashed there).

Winovich is still BBs doghouse, so we will see if he can get out. I think he is a one trick pony and kind of does his own thing on the field.

Free lancing on the field is a problem and will get you traded, see Jamie Collins, but we have LOTS of one trick ponies on the team, and at the right price (like a rookie contract) that is not a detriment.

Asiasi and Keene are in their second season with only a half season under their belts. Not a chance in hell either are left off the 53. Teams have asked for Harry in a trade so either they trade Harry, or if not traded, he is on the 53. Williams played more last season and was good at times.- not like some of our other 2nd round busts. Williams will be fun to watch to see how he develops, but on his rookie contract it is very unlikely he does not make the 53.

These decisions are about immediate impact, upside and value. Rookies have both upside and great value. Winovich might be a 3rd down guy going forward which is not the end of the world - not everyone is an All-Pro. At the right price, 3rd down specialists are valuable.

I don't think it's the TE's last shot as Henry isn't exactly "Iron Man". One could go though.

Depending on how the draft unfolds, I could see Winovich and Williams traded.

According to whom?

Just because a player isn't out there all 3 downs means he is in BBs doghouse.

There was some rumor about him being a "locker room Lawyer" which was bothering Coaches.

I think it was Florio with the story.

I'm aware of the rumors but the poster is implying he is STILL in the doghouse if he ever was in one.

Can wait for camp to start ....lol

Isn't it only Keene and Asiasi's 2nd camp? I think they have a free pass, maybe next year they have some pressure. Harry and Williams, definitely last chance. Winovich is safe.

Sorry should be "can't"....duh

The team has to figure out how to utilize Winovich because he's too good a pass rusher. He was 26th in the league in pressures as a part-time player and had splash plays vs. elite tackles (Eric Fisher, Orlando Brown).

Asiasi will be the third TE. Keene will compete at FB.

Harry should be traded to the highest bidder even if that is a 5th round pick.

Williams was similar to drafting Duke Dawson when they had Jonathan Jones on the team. It was obvious after 2018 that JC Jackson would be high end CB2. As a result his growth has been stunted & he's barely played in two seasons. He's only given up 154 yards in 257 snaps with an 84 passer rating. He could play more in J. McCourty's role.

I also don't mind the idea of including JC in a trade package to Atlanta depending on how the team views Williams either.

I just don't think Belichick is getting rid of a guy that can give the team this kind of pass rush production

I don't think Winovich is gonna do anything that would get himself traded and he's still got 2 years on his rookie deal. If he was in his last year, I could see it or if some team want to spend a 2nd or 3rd he would probably be gone. But now with the defense getting some retooling he can be very useful piece to it.

I don't disagree on Asiasi and Keene on the principle that any TC could be any unproven player's last chance, but I think whichever one (or both) makes the team this year will be all about guaranteed a TC next year too. My guess based on the moves is they want to run a 2-TE offense as a base, which means you need at least 3 TE's you're confident in, otherwise you're one injury away from having to change your base offense on a moment's notice. I think last year was a tough situation for rookies, especially at TE which is already difficult for rookies to jump in and contribute right away. They may not need to show a ton in order to be kept as that #3 guy for another year.

he freelances too much, doesn't complete his assignments on the field, and is only one dimensional. Let me see if I can unearth the article from Nov when it was reported.

There are plenty of articles out there saying he was in one. No need to post.

He isn't stout vs the run and takes bad angles vs RBs. We all know that. That doesn't mean he is in the dog house. What it does mean is he is not good at that part of his job (which is an important one)

Asiasi was a rookie last year, so I do not see any last chances yet. Keene is the same. Harry? Yeah his time is running low.

I hear Ras-I Dowling is finally healthy, this could be his year at long last.

Why would you include winovich?
