Top 5 all time WR imo but did have an order of protection against him around 2008-09 I believe. Wasn't charged & by all accounts a great guy but who knows. Kraft might have drawn a line somewhere but I swear I've seen them (Fitz/Kraft) chopping it up before games on occasion.

Either way Fitz, Brown, Beckham. We really need to develop a guy or two of our own so we're not in this position going foward.

They have been doing this pretty consistently over the last 5 years and coincidently been in 4 Super Bowls in the last 5 years winning 3 of them. So whatever he is doing he can keep doing ..

Because they are cheap and experienced, and they can sometimes provide good competition in training camp.

But staying in the context of the thread, Larry Fitzgerald doesn’t even come close to an apt comparison for where you’re trying to go, here. He’s caught 100+ balls in three of the past four years (when he doesn’t have a rookie throwing to him).
