So what’s the read here? Reading some moderately concerning reports from practice about his hands. Largely still good things about his ability to separate. What’s his camp looking like compared to past drafted receivers?

That pit in my stomach that comes from a missed WR pick is starting to show up again. Which is far too premature, but also a natural reflex given our draft record.

I think we need to keep in mind he's a third round pick not a first rounder. I think he's shown enough to be excited about a third a rounder. But there is also just enough to trigger some past memories.

A third-round pick fresh out of college in his first NFL training camp. Give the kid a freakin' chance, people. Even Troy Brown got off to a slow start that lasted YEARS.

He just needs to stop being Butterfingers IMO. He's been getting open from what I read

From what I’ve been reading my impression is it’s not all on him, the QBs are doing him no favors sometimes with off target throws.

It’s a fair question if they aren’t reading his speedometer properly.

He ran a good in route against Washington and should of had a TD but Dobbs threw it behind him. He got a hand on it and broke up a possible INT.

I heard he dropped a pass. Cut him. They can’t have players that drop a pass, or miss a block, or make the wrong cut. I also heard his shirt got dirty, and we can’t have players with dirty shirts, if they can’t take pride in their appearance what good are they. Josh Simmons hasn’t had to clean his uniform once this preseason, that’s a real pro. More than anything this season I want them to have clean uniforms.

You need a 2nd hobby like volunteering at a dog shelter. A hug and some dog slobber will cure your unnatural reflexes.

Well it has been painful how we can’t seem to find receivers who separate which it seems he can. Lack of separation is a greater concern than the hands right now. At least the second thing can be improved upon, I hope.

I have seen the team twice in person. 1 game and 1 practice.
I think we see with Williams a WR that can separate really well, has very good speed, and can track deep balls really well.
ok size
good hands, but inconsistent hands.
is it concentration? or technique?
good coaching will help

I think he is a year 1 contributor.

Our hope is for him to be our future #2 along side Diggs by years end.

not sure I see that happening that quickly.
I expect some rookie up's and down's.
team will lean on Diggs, Pop and Boutte, with Hollins getting some dirty work in. Williams and Chism will round out the group as contributors.

Believe it KW is that Skilled: he had the most Explosive Tape coming out. Steve Smith's ceiling.
