I dont think we did anything wrong spygate wise but bb decided to give a fu to the league and it back fired perception wise. Everyone hates us for that and because we win all the time. It's the hypocrisy that bothers most people. The Pats made a mistake, and paid the price. MANY, MANY teams have broken the rules and paid the price. How many are deemed "they have a history of cheating"?

ESPN's Chris Mortensen is reporting that a man in a yellow blazer with an NFLN patch told him that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady worked part time as a driver for UPS in 2011 and routinely dropped off boxes from the Guyer Institute for Molecular Medicine for Ashley Manning, and a large extra cheese chicken parmesan hoagie for her husband Peyton. Neighbors complained that Brady would arrive with Sly and the Family Stone blaring from his UPS delivery truck. Ted Wells is investigating. Mort could not be reached for comment.

Ok, I was listening to Westwood One on the way home and Warner was on the pregame show for tonight's game. He went off on the initial report on Manning because it isn't fair to Peyton because people are always going to believe the initial story no matter what happens after the fact.

The same Kurt Warner who still believes the Pats taped the Rams' walkthrough even though that report has been debunked.

Poor Kurt and his little friend Marshall will never, ever get over the fact that their dynasty was out-coached and outplayed at the Super Dome in February, 2002. It has colored every single thought they have ever had as "commentators" for the NFL.

Like many of the hypocrites who have Manning's back right now, he's right. Manning does deserve the benefit of the doubt, and a rush to judgment is ugly and easily manipulated to drive false stories.

It's just a real shame that none of these assholes/cowards had the balls to feel this way earlier this year.

THIS. Manning absolutely deserves the benefit of the doubt. I, for one, hope the accusations are totally false. I'm more concerned, however, about the coverage of this by the media, and the response from the NFL. Goodell likened Brady's "crime" (which didn't even happen, but whatever) to PED usage. The NFL made a very strong comparison. Hence the 4-game suspension. If that's the case, then based on this evidence, Peyton should be suspended 4 games.

Anything less is a complete joke, and a sign that the NFL was simply on a witch hunt vis-a-vis the Pats and Brady.

I don't want to speak for Salem because s/he is capable of doing that. But, there is a distinct difference between a Christian and a "religious nut." I agree with his/her statement about the latter. They are whacked and their intolerance is the exact opposite of what a real Christian is. Not taking sides, just my take on it.

That's what everyone outside of New England doesn't understand, no one's yelling "Peyton's guilty hang him" we're just pointing out the hypocrisy and that Brady should have been given the benefit of the doubt as should Manning. He had nothing, zero to do with cameraplacementgate. I found myself screaming at the radio on my way home today with some idiot nyawk caller and the two moron hosts on 98.5.

And that doesn't address the false leaks from the NFL. Where are the leaks about Manning's failed drug tests? Or are we going to pretend that the league leaking false information to make a player look guilty can be explained by that player being on a team that broke a rule 7 years ago? It'd be fine as long as 6 months later they update the article/tweet to just say Manning took drug tests... I mean that's virtually the same thing.

Not to mention what was the reason for the witch hunt that was cameraplacementgate? Using one overreaction to explain another is nonsense.
