I don't think RK is a kinkster like @XLIX posts. Most people are not kinksters - he could be but that is not the majority of the situations. The "happy endings" does lend itself to a kinkster profile either.

The explanation is usually something really simple. I think RK is super cheap and that reflects throughout his life. The simplest explanation is usually the correct one. I think letting him go was the right choice simply because based on his conferences he had become complacent with loosing and seemed to have lost his hunger.

The 2024 front 7 looks a lot better than the 2023 front 7. After injuries in 2023 the front 7 was Bentley, Duggar, Peppers, Jennings, Barmore, White, and Judon, and in 2024 it could have been Duggar, Mapu, Takitaki, Jennings, Wilkins, White, and Judon. The other player in both years is Jennings so he cancels himself out when comparing.
