I agree with you overall but my particular issue with this case has never been about Kraft's innocence. I don't believe he is innocent. He basically acknowledged that with his first statement where he didn't deny the sex acts but that he didn't do anything illegal. I also believe there was a prostitution operation running out of these spas. Finally, I believe the cops were well within their rights to go out and bust the operation if they thought it posed a danger to their community. Not sure why everyone is riding the cops on this one. Let's assume they messed the case completely up. What does that have to do with whether Kraft is guilty or not? He's not being charged with sex trafficking and you have to ask yourself, "do I think he did it"? If you think he was dating this woman and decided the best place to go out for a date was at her place of business or he was at this seedy strip mall to get a massage, then more power to you. If you think he was up to something illegal, then what the cops did is purely a procedural issue. Either way, the issue is what he did or didn't do. Everything else is smoke and mirrors. He's paying his lawyer to redirect your attention to the legal aspect of it and away from Kraft's guilt or innocence.
Let's be clear, the cops could have done everything wrong and that may legally clear Kraft but that really isn't the issue. The procedural questions are what his team of lawyers wants you to focus on though and why he's paying for them

I'm probably one of the guilty so I counted my posts = 10.3 pages worthA few have spent more time posting in this thread than Kraft spent inside Orchids.
I still admire Kraft. Why wouldn’t I? If more people were like him, the world would be a better place.
Dude I haven’t reported or claimed to know anything. I have only discussed the meaning and significance of the facts that were reported. The Sun Yee On triad is behind all these chinese "spas" in South Florida. It is their territory. Once again, where are the Feds in this case, if, as has been pounded home for months, there was "human trafficking!!!" going on? That's a federal offense, if ,as "expert" ace reporter AJ has stated, these women are "slaves!" held against their will, after being brought over here. Gee whiz golly willickers, I would think that an organized crime arm of one of the biggest triads in South China, operating right out in the open in front of Buford T Justice and & the SoFla Pinhead Posse, would pique the interest of the FBI, INS and DHS.
So far...crickets....
That’s because the procedural issues are far more important than the misdemeanors committedNot sure why everyone is riding the cops on this one. Let's assume they messed the case completely up. The procedural questions are what his team of lawyers wants you to focus on though and why he's paying for them. They aren't arguing that he didn't do it and they aren't arguing the morality of prostitution. They are focusing on the procedure and sex trafficking ro redirect your attention because that is where they want it.
There never was any trafficking issue with this case. But the social justice tin soldiers (funny term, isn’t it?) will keep using the term.nice spin. You KNOW what you were pushing weeks ago. NO ONE says and keeps saying "human trafficking!" in hundreds of posts without thinking THAT is an eventual reality. Keep spinning though....can't wait to see what continent you end up on when this whole tawdry, small town passion play comes to an ignominious conclusion.
And best buddies with the Dolphins owner!
