I see know reason for you to insult me? If you disagree with my opinion that is fine and certainly your right. We're adults in an online message board that have likely never met in person, you know nothing about me, my intelligence or my mental aptitude. Making a statement implying that I'm not sharp is very offensive to me, also it's against the forum rules. I have no intentions of reporting this post but you as a member should abide by them since you did agree to do so when signing up.

Regarding your belief that its good business to do what Hernandez did that is debatable, it shows weakness and desperation which teams could perceive as an indication that your draft stock is low on many other teams boards, basically he tipped his hand. More importantly its not smart business because it didn't work, the letter was sent to most teams I'm sure and yet teams still left him off their boards completely and we didn't select him till the 4th round.

It was striking to me how emotionally detached he seemed in the court proceedings. Reminded me of a trapped animal that didn't know what was going on. Except eerily calm.

Over time, I've sent him some texts when I've strongly disagreed with him and one can tell when he's really pissed because he responds on the air to such texts in a seething, sarcastic manner. I usually enjoy him when he talks baseball, but his NBA and NFL knowledge seem weak to me. His partner, aptly nicknamed "Mut" (Mutnansky) seems barely literate. Last year he had Troy Brown on with him and he praised Troy by saying he (Troy) "embolized what it means to be a Patriot." Fortunately, Troy didn't have an embolism.

People think it's so crazy that Hernandez could put on such a good face in his professional life and still do all of these evil things behind their backs. It's really not crazy at all. No one is following him 24/7. People lead crazy double-lives all the time, it's very easy for Hernandez to carry on this lifestyle in his spare time.


I just watched the "Craigslist Killer" movie on A&E last month... he was a med student whose professors, parents, and girlfriend all thought was an upstanding, intelligent citizen. His girlfriend lived with him and had no idea he was a psycho who was murdering hookers in his spare time.


My point is that Hernandez living a separate life that no one around him knew much about is totally believable. People do this every day.

I don't feel bad for Odin Lloyd, kid was a thug, it goes with the lifestyle. It's not like he was some innocent boy or anything. I don't see why the Patriots should've had a representative there.
I don't feel bad for Kraft or the Patriots organization, only sorry for the players on the team who has to deal with questions regarding Hernandez all season.

Personally I feel the Patriots should've given him the same treatment as the Ravens did Ray Lewis. Wait it out, get the truth and answers and see if he's actually guilty of the crime. Not cut him, act like they're victims and then try to erase any memory of Aaron Heranandez from the organization.

The Patriots have people looking into these players' background. Criminal background. There's police reports about the Rhode Island incident, the Florida incident where some boys got shot (though Hernandez was only questioned), All the stuff that's been coming out lately regarding Heranandez's criminal activity, the Patriots, I'm sure was well aware of it. As long as he was performing well they were willing to slide it under the rug. Now that he's in jail they are cutting him off like he's absolutely nothing without even knowing if he's guilty or not.

I feel he should be given a little more support the team. I feel bad for Hernandez, especially if it turns out he's innocent.

You don't feel bad for the murdered guy (because you have evidence that he's a thug), but you do feel bad for the guy who's charged with murdering him.

Not really. Attleboro is close to Foxboro. I don't know if Judge is actually lives next door or just close by. A lot of players and coaches live/lived in Attleboro.

"Character issues" usually means being a lousy teammate, having questionable work ethic or getting hit with a 4-game pot ban. NE vetted him on all three fronts and he passed.

Unless you are saying that NE was fully aware that Hernandez was a sociopath and still invested $40mm in him, then I don't see why they can't say they were "duped". And hanging out with a bad crowd ain't nearly enough evidence for that, or else a quarter of the league should be considered at risk.
